For most countries this would be a serious limitation but Australia is not only vast it also has a wide range of ecosystems from deserts to rainforests. All of these are on display creating a visually interesting and a botanically fascinating garden. Attend the free guided tour if you can because you will learn insights into species specific adaptations such as plants creating red fresh foliage that is unattractive to caterpillars. This variety of plants has encouraged wildlife and there are birds everywhere as well as water dragons. Paths, signage and plant labelling is exemplary. You can also access the trail to the summit of Black Mountain from the garden. Facilities include a cafe, shop, toilets and water refill points.

Because it boasts numerous bookstores, wide and quiet streets, and expansive museums—it's a paradise for introverts❣️❣️❣️❣️ From Sydney, you can take a direct bus to Canberra's city center in just 3 hours👍🏻😉. Once there, I hopped on a scooter and headed straight to the National Museum of Australia in Canberra. It didn’t take long to explore, but there were plenty of exhibitions about Australia’s development in the 70s and 80s. Outside the museum, there’s a serene lakeside area where you can enjoy a coffee and relax😌😌😌. Canberra isn’t very big, so getting around on a scooter is super convenient. I headed straight to my accommodation, a motel called Forrest Hotel and Apartments. It was clean and tidy, the caretaker was very friendly, and the price was reasonable—highly recommended. One must-visit spot in Canberra is the Australian Parliament House, one of the few parliamentary buildings in the world that allows public access. I toured the Senate, the House of Representatives, and if you’re lucky, you might even catch a live parliamentary session!
