Just came back from the most magical morning in Alba with Tartuflanghe 🐶🍂✨ Misty vineyards all around, and we’re walking through the woods with Giulio and his incredible lagotto dogs. Within minutes they start digging like crazy… and there it is: a perfect white truffle, straight out of the earth! The smell hits you immediately – intense, earthy, absolutely addictive. We found 3 gorgeous truffles in under 30 min. Then back to Tartuflanghe’s beautiful estate, a shower of shaved Alba white truffle on top, paired with Barolo from their own cellar. Simple, perfect, life-changing. If you love food and want a real Piedmont experience, book a truffle hunt trip. Alba is not just about food though, it has a warm atmosphere that makes every visit memorable and uniquely Piemonte.

Taking a day off, I chose to visit the small town of Alba, located 65 kilometers from Turin in the Langhe area of the Piemonte region in northwest Italy. Traveling by train, I enjoyed the scenic views of Langhe's endless vineyards, which were listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014. Besides its culinary delights, this charming city in northern Italy's Piemonte region boasts a cathedral and other Gothic landmarks. My visit coincided with the weekend market, where the main streets and market offered plenty of great shopping opportunities.

If you want to go to Enoclub and Voglia di Vino Locanda, two popular wine bars and restaurants in Alba at night, they are not far from Vincafe.
