Came to the south of Portugal for vacation, this time choosing to stay in the newest five-star hotel in the Algarve region. The whole resort is quite big. We chose to take Fixbus🚌 from Lisbon to 📍Albufeira and then take Uber to the hotel. 🏨The welcome drink when checking in to the hotel is sparkling wine from Portugal🥂 The hotel has its own beach, but the sand is quite coarse, and there are cliffs on both sides, which is very spectacular⛰️🌊 The hotel is decorated with an ocean theme, and the exterior facade resembles shells and fish scales🐟 Overall experience score 9/10

Address - staid week in soldoiros apartments with ocean view (fantastic price for a thought budget trip) Ambiance/Facilities - one bedroom apartment with kitchen, living room and balcony. perfect for a couple Highlights - beachfront, sun, balcony with the view, fresh food in local cafes and restaurants Avg. Price per Person - we paid 28eur for two, so 14eur per night. that’s amazing deal, right?!? Rating - 4 stars out of 5, because the beds just were not good for our backs, if they change mattresses — would be 5. even tho - would definitely return in off season, can’t imagine how expensive and crowded it would be in the season. #staycation

To end my Portugal scene, i finally settled for the coastal city, #albufeira. You'll find a sandy beach, blue water and magnificent rock formations in the surroundings-plus beautiful ladies & hunks busy sun tanning along the beach stretc. instead of getting myself wet, i joined the group to hunt for dolphins and cave watching around Algarve on a boat. it was sooo much fun!! we took pictures and had a good time with the friendly dolphins. In the evening, we enjoyed dinner at a small local restaurant — fresh seafood, grilled fish, and Algarve wine made for a perfect introduction to the region. **Day 2 – Ria Formosa & Islands** The highlight of the trip was visiting the Ria Formosa Natural Park. The noise of the city faded away, and the waves gently pushed the boat forward, as if patting my shoulder. The sea was particularly deep and transparent that day, like the first fresh blue paint on an old canvas. As the boat began to steam toward the horizon, the wind carried a salty scent, brushing my forehead. Behind the coastline, cliffs revealed themselves in layers like mother-of-pearl, and long silences pervaded the crevices of the rocks. "They'll appear soon." Even before the captain finished speaking, a single sparkling dot leaped from the distant waves. Like an unknown silver bow, like the breath of the sea. And soon, several dolphins cut through the water, circling our boat. They surged in regular, flowing curves, as if inviting us into their own sea. The glitter spread across the water. It flowed down the dolphin's spine, and its sparkle, along with the sunlight, became another painting, alive and moving in the ripples. Taking photos and videos, I was capturing unforgettable moments. At some point, the dolphins seemed to dance with the notes of the waves. The horizon unfolded serenely like a musical staff, and the dolphins' leaps dotting it completed a unique melody. After spending a long time together, they returned farther and farther back to their deep blue sea. The ripples vanished from the surface, leaving behind only a few ripples. The experience of meeting the dolphins is only briefly captured in the video, but the scenes linger in my memory, even more profoundly! Waves and light, wind and life, weave the story of a day in a sunset-hued coastal city. The entrance, carved by the sea and wind over the years, was serene, majestic, and strangely mysterious, like the gates of a temple where time sleeps. The moment we stepped inside, light became quivering silver sculptures, moving up and down the ceiling and walls. The sculptures, glittering on the swaying waves, resembled palaces painted by the sea itself. Passing beneath, we, for a moment, became one of the colors in that painting. The air there was neither cold nor hot, as if it held the sea's most precious warmth. Of all the caves I'd visited, the last one, Benagil Cave, was the greatest. Even the wind and the waves paused for a moment, catching their breath. Only the ancient sound permeating the walls resonated like a deep breath. This landscape felt more like a sense of acceptance than a sense of "capturing." When a single ray of light fell through the cave, shattering white across the water, even following its path with my eyes felt like a sacred act. This cave was not a grand work of nature, but a quiet palace hidden and preserved by the sea for ages. And before it, I knew that a larger image, a painting in my heart, had been created. With all-inclusive access to over 14 restaurants, we were spoiled for choice — and Jac’s, just five minutes away, is a must-try! We also visited the Albufeira Marina and took an amazing boat trip to see dolphins up close — an experience we’ll never forget. Every sunset from the hotel was picture-perfect. Beautiful location, delicious food, and warm hospitality — this place truly captures the magic of the Algarve!
