We landed in Cebu and headed down to Moalboal and Panglao. When you're there, highly recommend that you go for Kawasan Falls Canyoneering!!! It's similar to river tracing; for you safety, remember to get your own water shoes and long swimsuit to protect against abrasions. They'd come in handy when you go snorkelling as well!

Cebu is a fantastic island with many small villages to explore. It is one of Philippines’s bigges island. It is known worldwide for the Whaleshark watching and the Kawasan falls. You must walk in cebu city historic centre to enjoy the amazing architecture which combines modern and impressive buldings with traditional Spanish architecture. Walking on the streets is fun, there are many landmarks such as museums, parks and temples. I came to Cebu for a 10 days trip but I would recommend at least three weeks to travel all the way from the north to the south of the island. Exploring the famous Kawasan falls (Philippines)

1st day To get there —- rented a bike from Cebu-Belmont hotel The journey took 4 and half hours to get to Moalboal ,slept in moalboal and went to the beach bars and restaurants for dinner. 2nd day :rode to Kawasan took about 30 mins ,first I wanted to go to kawasan fall but I came across a tour guide that advised me to take a tour package that takes you through the all the falls in that area . Paid 1900 pesos bargain price original price was 2400 pesos. Can choose to walk to the starting point or take a zip line for 60 pesos. The whole tour takes 4 hours walking,sliding,floating and swimming through the falls. Note : as a non swimmer you need to listen to the tour guide all the time and trust him ,he’ll help you go through the whole place .They are well trained. Really enjoyed the experience but tiring at the same time

Kawasan falls was such an amazing experience. The colour of the water soooo blue! It’s a bit of a hike to get there and it was pretty hot when i visited. But was greeted with this beautiful view and cold water. Since the falls are pretty deep it is mandatory to wear a life jacket before getting in to the falls. There are guards there who will call you out if you’re not wearing one. Also, i suggest to get aqua shoes the falls are really slippery! #Waterfall #cebu #philippines

#cebutrip There are an abundance of waterfalls in Cebu, I only had the pleasure of visiting two. This was the most grand! The first waterfall is a great swimming hole and place where many local ohana park it, picnic, and have a dip. Some brave souls will do some jumps. Some more adventurous will go up and to the second waterfall which is a lot bigger! There are less people here so you have more room to swim and jump, or just admire the beauty of a tall waterfall. I had a little bit of a hard time finding the waterfall. I mainly relied on finding marked trails. Don't give up, it's not too hard to find! I didn't have to pay to enter btw!

While on Cebu island the canyoneering trips are must. The tours are popular, but the opportunity to jump off the cliffs in the jungle, swim in beautiful clear water and get your adrenaline up for a few hours makes it a great day out. To start the tours you'll be taken up to the top of the canyon by motorbike, before you break into groups of 2/3 people per guide to ensure everyone is safe. The guides give details of the drops which varies from 10m, 7m, 5m 3m and a couple slides and other natural rock formations to navigate through.
