The weather during this season was pleasantly breezy, which made sightseeing much more comfortable. I stayed at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, which is located right next to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. The convenience of being able to walk to KLCC Park within minutes made the stay even better. After checking in, I spent the late afternoon exploring the Twin Towers area. Standing underneath the towers never gets old. Their height, symmetry and silver steel façade still impress me every time. I took my time walking around KLCC Park, enjoying the cooler fall breeze while watching families and tourists gather by the fountain. As the sky darkened, I made my way to the Saloma Link Bridge. Visiting this spot at night is something I highly recommend. The bridge lights up in bright colours and frames the KL skyline beautifully. From the centre of the bridge, the view of the Twin Towers glowing against the night sky felt almost cinematic. I stayed longer than I expected, simply enjoying the atmosphere and taking photos. The next morning, I headed to Zoo Negara. Fall is a good time to visit because the temperature feels slightly more comfortable compared to hotter months. I planned my walking route carefully so I would not double back unnecessarily. The highlight of the zoo, without question, was the Giant Panda Conservation Centre. Malaysia has done an impressive job maintaining the facility. The air-conditioned enclosure was spotless, cool and calm. Watching the pandas eat and move around so comfortably made the visit worthwhile. It felt like the zoo genuinely prioritised their wellbeing. From there, I continued through the different animal zones in one smooth loop. I saw the capybaras resting peacefully by the water, the lions in their open enclosure, and the rhinoceroses grazing slowly under the shade. The fall breeze throughout the zoo made the walk pleasant, and even though the zoo is large, the path was easy to follow without too much backtracking. By the time I finished the loop, I felt like I had covered every major section without rushing. Overall, this two-day KL trip gave me a mix of city lights, comfort and a nature-filled morning at the zoo. It was a simple itinerary, but it felt fulfilling. Located in the bustling Melawati Mall's Food Empire, this gem offers a killer selection of dishes, but the star is definitely the Gulai Urat. The tender, chewy urat drenched in rich coconut yellow gravy is pure heaven. Add the fiery red sambal balado and the zesty green sambal ijo, and you're in for a flavor explosion ! All this deliciousness comes at a super affordable price, making it the hottest spot in town right now!

The National Zoo is situated 13 km from the centre of Kuala Lumpur, with features about 400 species of Malaysian and exotic mammals, reptiles and birds. Its aquarium "Tunku Abdul Rahman Aquarium" is a very popular attraction. It displays over 80 species of aquatic animals, both marine and freshwater, including invertebrates. But what amazed me was the Panda parade! There are 3 panda there, which are very cute. Glad that I as able to meet the two giant pandas Xing Xing and Liang Liang - the zoo's most famous residents. The environment of this Panda parade is cool and clean. which provided the Pandas a very good quality of living. Other than that, this zoo do have penguin and other special species! The Nine Emperor Gods Festival has also become the most lively festival celebration in Ampang New Village, attracting thousands of believers to worship and pray for peace and health every year. According to the temple's special publication, the original temple was just a small wooden house. Later, because it saved a businessman, the latter donated 2 acres of land to the Nine Emperor Gods as a palace site. Based on the belief in the Nine Emperor Gods, the temple was named Doumu Palace, and later renamed Wanshou Palace and Nan Tian Gong. The highlight of the Nine Emperor Gods Festival is the procession to the Ampang River to welcome the gods on the 30th day of the eighth lunar month, and the fire-walking ceremony on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month. Every year, more than a thousand believers gather at Ampang Nan Tian Gong to participate in the Nine Emperor Gods welcoming ceremony. The believers participating in the ceremony wear white clothes and pants, tie white scarves, hold incense, and follow the parade to the Ampang River to welcome the Nine Emperor Gods back to the temple.
