After 6 months of living in Hyderabad, I would say it's one of the best cities to live in India. In every sense; say food, culture, and travel too. Also this province is home for some of the amazing sceneries in India. Venturing to this place, needs to start travel to Anantapur. Later on, take a taxi to Gandikota which was shown quite famously around many Indian movies as a haunted city. For a while, this landscape made me think 🤔 maybe this is a bit wicked place to go. Because with such natural wonders, it is no where maintained or protected. If I were I would setup a shop, and start banking some 🤑 money. This place such a good one to spend your whole day in there. In our series of hiking expeditions, as soon as after we were done with Nandi hills🏞️ in Bangalore; we hopped on the local bus to Gandikota, literally known as the Grand Canyon of India. The first sight we had after reaching at the entrance gate is, just around 3 kilometres radius we could see a temple🛕, a mosque🕌 and an ancient british style jail🏚️ that says the whole story how this place has been passed on between kingdoms and it is most coveted one. We started hiking towards the canyon, looking around the local village too. Once you reach the canyon, to go further you have to be cautious with the single rocks 🪨 that have amassed there. Some rocks may topple you, and don't be crazy like me 😝to take a picture standing on a single rock below which it is only straight to the ground of 2500 metres height.
