One-day tour of Antalya.
Flew to Antalya in the evening and used Trip.com's airport pick-up service. I had previously received a 200 yuan voucher. The driver held a sign with my name on it and took me directly to the hotel.
Antalya is a small coastal town, suitable for strolling and lying down. Sit on a high place, drink coffee or juice, and look out at the Mediterranean Sea. There is no fine sand, only pebbles.
No rush or worry, chat with friends about life and stocks, take two photos of cats and dogs, get away from the hustle and bustle, and escape the mundane...
Ancient city by the sea, leisurely stroll, a glass of white wine is a must!

Spring Travel in Turkey | Love this seaside park so much!
For a trip to Turkey, the top choice to see the sea is of course the beautiful Mediterranean resort city—Antalya.
And when coming to Antalya to see the sea, besides going to Antalya Beach and the Roman Port, Ataturk Seaside Park is highly recommended.
/
⭕️ 'Attraction Introduction':
Ataturk Seaside Park (Ataturk Parki), located between the new and old city areas, near the Antalya Museum, features a cliffside seascape coastline.
/
⭕️ 'Recommended Activities':
✔️ Watching the sea and sunset:
This is considered one of the best spots to view the seascape of Antalya, because of its unique cliffside coastline, and some places even allow you to walk directly onto the rocks at sea level.
Coming here to watch the sunset in the evening is also very suitable, the seascape and afterglow are really beautiful!
✔️ Coffee and Cuisine:
The entire coastline is also dotted with many seaside cafes and restaurants, especially near the museum area.
It's perfect to find a cafe, sit down to enjoy the seascape and sunshine, and the prices are really cheap!
You can have a cup of Turkish tea for just 5 lira and sit for an afternoon!
/
⭕️ 'Ticket and Time':
Free, open all day.
/
⭕️ 'Transportation Tips':
You can take the tram or bus to get there.
The T2 tram can be taken to Meslek Lisesi and then it's within walking distance, or take the bus to Teoman Pasa and then it's within walking distance.
/
⭕️ 'Tips for Visiting':
✔️ Be sure to pay attention to safety when visiting!
✔️ It is recommended to come in the evening when the sunlight is just right.
Sunny ANTALYA ☀️🏖️🇹🇷
#timetotravel
Antalya was the perfect summer stop during our time in Türkiye this August! 🇹🇷🥰
With tons of amazing dining options, many with stunning seaside views, and the beach just a tram ride away, Antalya is the perfect vacation spot.🚋🏖️👙
Tourists are more abundant here, so there are plenty of opportunities to socialize while getting out on the town. 🍹🎉🪩
Don’t skip Antalya during your Türkiye travels!! It’s a seaside experience you won’t want to miss! 🏊♀️💃#beachlife #travel #turkey
BE ABROADABLE - Nat the Expat Phaselis Beautiful, Tranquil, Heaven on Earth
Easily accessible even by public transport operating between Antalya / Kemer and Finike / Kumluca.
From the bus stop / gate, you need to walk 10-15 minutes to reach the site itself.
There is an interesting historical story behind the ruins of Phaselis and lods of remains of various objects to be seen there, the Roman aquaduct being the most impressive one.
Warmly recommended if you are staying in Kemer/Tekirova/Kumluca area in Turkey and wish to escape from the "all inclusive routine" or you are simply enthusiastic about visiting historical sites and natural beauties.

Shades of Indiana Jones
The location is fantastic especially for the nature lovers .
If you're the sort of person who wants to see grand and impressive buildings, Olympos might not be for you.. most of the structures still standing are relatively modest in comparison to say, Ephesos or Hierapolis. But if you're looking to experience the sense of mystery and wonder that the first explorers who "discovered" the ruined cities of antiquity must have felt as they stumbled through the overgrown streets, there are surely few sites anywhere in Türkiye which allow your imagination to go into overdrive quite like the ruins of the ancient Lycian city of Olympos.
The gently crumbling stone buildings of the ancient town, which are nestled within a forest that's a only few meters from the shores of the Mediterranean, seem to exude an air of quiet mystery.. especially as you make your way deeper into the forest to explore the parts of the site which are off the main trail down to the beach. Speaking of the beach, you can always take a break from wandering in the woods checking out the remains of the ancient site to go chill on the shore and watch the waves.
Simply put, if you're looking for vast, imposing architectural monuments, then Olympos might not be your cup of tea… but even if you are, I'd still recommend you give the site a visit, because there's something about the setting which might just win Olympos a special place in your traveler's heart!
No words... This place is wonderful!!! You can visit the ruins enjoying at the same time a wonderful sea!! It is a very fashinating place, ruins and nature live togheter in a great symbiosis.

Walk trip around Old Town Antalya 🇹🇷
Loved the vibe of this old town! Old structures are all around beautified by the vibrant street art. If you’re into art and eye candies, this place is a heaven for you as much as it is for me 🤩 Too bad tho I don’t have Turkish Lira with me at the moment, so learn from my mistake and bring cash with you so you can buy art & souvenirs ☺️

Luna Garden
Luna Garden is located in the ancient city of Antalya along Ataturk Caddesi, just around 200 meters 3 minutes walk away from Hadrian's Gate. It is open daily from 1000-0100.
Luna Garden is one of the indispensable meeting points of social life and is characterized by its outdoor seating, surrounded by a garden of flowers, citrus trees and plants. The lighting of the place looks very stylish with its modern wooden tables, black and white chairs, lanters and tasseled umbrellas.
They serve a wide variety of cuisines that includes desserts, grills, salads, sushis and pasta. You can scan the QR code on the table to view the menu, sometimes the food is served by the staff using rollerblades. I especially like the coffee that is served with cotton candy on a thin stick beside your coffee.
Ancient City of Side
Side is a city on the southern Mediterranean coast of Turkey, it lies near Manavgat and the village of Selimiye, 75 kilometers away from Antalya. Some of the sites open from 0830-1730.
It includes the modern resort town and the ruins of the ancient city of Side, one of the best known classical sites in the country.
The first thing that comes to mind when mentioning Side is the Temple of Apollo and Athena. Even if there are several columns left from the temple, you will be amazed at its magnificence.
You can have a boat ride around at its harbour or visit the sea front restaurants and cafes.
It retains many relics from the days when the cities flourished as a center of trade, other historic buildings situated on a vast area of the Side peninsula.
Ancient City
Perge Ancient City is located in Aksu district, 18 kilometers 25 minutes drive away from Antalya city centre. It is open daily from 0800-1700.
Perge was known as one of the most organized cities of the Roman period, the city walls date back to the Hellenistic and Roman periods. Two towers had survived in good condition at the entrance of the site.
There are 3 thermal bath complexes with different temperatures dated back to the 2nd century, the heating system under the floor can be seen till today.
The Agora was the commercial and political center of the city, with rows of columns and shops all around the centre courtyard. You can discover an interesting boardgame there.
At the end of the columned street there is a monumental fountain dedicated to Emperor Hadrian.
Perge stadium is one of the best stadiums that has survived from the ancient world, it measures 34 square meters with 13 rows of seats.
Perge is also the holy city mentioned in the Bible. It is the starting point of the road, which is accepted as St Paul's way.
Most of the artifacts excavated are displayed at the Antalya Archeology Museum.
Ancient City and The Bridge
Selge Ancient City is located in the heart of Koprulu Canyon National Park at an altitude of 1250 meters above sea level, on the southern slopes of the Tarus Mountains. It is around 105 kilometers 100 minutes drive from Antalya.
After arriving at the Historical Bugrum and Oluk Bridge, which had become the symbol of Koprulu Canyon, the climb to the Tarus Mountains being from here, Selge is just 11 kilometers away.
The greatest ancient building of Selge still preserved in its beauty is the theater that was constructed in the 2nd Century AD. Although the skene building collapsed some time ago, its auditorium, based on the slope of the hill is virtually intact.
There are some shops selling hot drinks, and ladies selling their hand make souvenirs.
Eagle Canyon Tazi Canyon
Eagle Canyon tazi canyon is one of the most beautiful canyons in the Mediterranean, which is located in Koprulu Canyon National Park. The national park is located between the districts of Serik and Manavgat, which is around 100 kilometers 90 minutes drive from Antalya. I suggest taking a day tour from Antalya is a better idea.
Koprulu was declared a national park in 1973, after natural and cultural resources in the area were evaluated.
Visitors will admire the various angles of the canyon and marvelous view of Koprucay stream. The cliffs are around 400 meters high, the view is breathtaking. Be careful, especially after rain (sillpery), because there are no security measures at the edge of the cilff, while you are taking photos.
Lycian Tomb & Roman Amphitheater
On the northern outskirts of Myra, at the foot of the low range of the Taurus mountains, around 1.9 kilometers 25 minutes walk from St Nicholas Church at the town of Demre. It is open daily from 0800-1700.
The necropolis Lycian rock tombs were always placed at the top of the hills or on the cliffs as there was a belief that the dead would be transported to another world by a flying wing-like creature. Some tombs had the shape of houses, very similar to those in which the Lycians lived during their lifetime.
Beside is theRoman Amphitheater which is one of the best preserved in the Lycian Regionthat was built during the Roman period, it can hold approximately 11000 people. As all the other Roman theaters, it was used both for theatrical performances and gladiatorial fights.
Jeep Safari
Antalya Jeep Safari is one of the popular day tours that visitors can participate in, you can either book online, tour agency around, or hotel travel counter.
Pick up from the hotel starts around 0800hrs to the Safari Jeep station. It is an excursion for those who seek an alternative getaway, as it brings together everything, off-road driving, walks in the forest, and swimming in the river.
Experienced drivers will drive and entertain you along the journey, we pass by a Turkish village for a tea break and lunch, top of the cliff for the views around, river, bridge, and water splashing along the way.
Hotel Near the Old Town
Ramanda Plaza by Wyndham is located at Fevzi Cakmak Caddesi No 22, Antalya, Turkey 07100, on the scenic shores of the Mediterranean Sea and walking distance to the old town
Hadrian's Gate and more.
The grand lobby has enough seats for their customers while waiting for the transport, friends, or you can have a drink at the lounge.
A clean room with the old town view, the facilities in the room look old, with digital safe, coffee and tea making facilities, mini bar and many more.
They got 2 pools in the hotel, one is indoor and the other at outdoor (maintenance). In the summer they will have pool chairs on the cliff platform. A big fitness room for a workout during your stay.
Mood Terrace is the place we are taking our breakfast with a great variety of choice and a nice view of Taurus Mountain.
And the Surrounding
Hadrian's Gate is a triumphal arch which was built in the name of Roman emperor Hadrian in the year 130 AD, when he visited the city.
It is located at Ataturk Street, Muratpasa, Antalya, Turkey, it can be reached by foot, during a walk through the historical old town, or by trams. It is open 24 hours.
It is the only remaining entrance gate in the walls that surround the city and harbor. Its three archways are of the same size - 4.15 meters wide and 6.18 meters heights with two towers standing on either side, that is 8 meters high.
You can wander around the souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants along the street.
THE FANTASTIC “SU” HOTEL
I really want to recommend you to check this hotel if you are visiting Antalya. It’s located in Konyaalti beach and it’s so close to the sea. Su hotel has gym, restaurant, pool, spa and many more. In the night there are live performances at first floor.
Rooms are clean and has romantic red lights too. Every room has balcony where you can lie down and see the people around. Everything was amazing 🤩
Togi the Travel addict 113 yivli minare Turkey

Beautiful coast in Antalya
#fallingforfall #tripblazers #turkey #antalya #beachlife #urbanexplorer #summervacation #awesomepic Visiting in Turkey, it’s a must to visit Antalya located in the southern part of Turkey. Antalya is one of the largest cities in the whole country, and definitely the largest summer resort with beaches. In the city, there are three stunning beaches, also in the city centre. Moreover, the coastline is located partially on the rocks, a night walk may be a perfect occasion to observe the city from the above in it darkness. In generally, Antalya is one of my favourite summer resorts in this part of Europe 😊 A visit in Antalya can be easily combined with a trip to other nearby Turkish summer resorts, such as Alanya or Side
