If you're tired of an all-inclusive vacation, I suggest immersing yourself in the local culture. First, head to the beach - 📍Lara Beach. You can get there by bus. You'll need the Antalya cart. At the very beginning of the beach, there's absolutely no infrastructure, such as changing rooms or showers... and it's mostly locals who relax there. And planes fly overhead every five minutes. Nearby in the park, there are tons of stoves, barbecues, and picnic tables. Whole families come here with tents and relax. If you walk a little further, you'll find organized beaches with sun loungers, showers, cafes, etc. (We didn't pay for sun loungers, so I can't tell you the price; we just went there to shower and change.) We also stopped in for lunch. We paid about 400 lira for pizza, ayran, and mineral water (a bit pricey, but the view was amazing). We sat and enjoyed the sunset. #Antalya #onmyown

Antalya was an amazing holiday destination. Great for couples, families and solo travellers! So much to do in Antalya, where do I start? I loved visiting The Land of Legends, which is home to one of the most spectacular hotels and theme parks! It also has a beautiful stream of water running through it, which showcases a light show every night and you can also enjoy a gondola ride! Lots of restaurants and clothes to see and explore. Another place I loved visiting was the Duden Waterfalls. It has the most breathtaking waterfall and caves that you can walk through to get to the waterfall area. It’s easy to walk around but I will recommend comfortable footwear! I have to give a shoutout to our hotel - Swandor Topkapi Palace. It is an all inclusive hotel and is one of the best hotels that I’ve stayed in. It has about 4 swimming pools so you have so many to pick from if one of ever full. In early January 2026, the weather here was gorgeous - sunny, pleasant breeze, blooming shrubs. Kalkan is about 20-30 minutes away by bus. It has a similar atmosphere to Kas, but in January it was very empty, so we preferred Kas for its liveliness. These small towns are best explored by simply walking around and soaking in the atmosphere. In Kas, besides the old town, I recommend visiting Antiphellos Ancient City (it offers a beautiful view of the town) and climbing up to the Sleeping Giant viewpoint (we didn’t make it all the way, stopping at a large rock along the way, which also offers great views). In Kalkan, stroll along Mustafa Kocakaya Street, Kalkan Atatürk Cad., N5 Street, and Süleyman Yılmaz Street. There’s also a very picturesque seaside area here. We stayed in Kas at CARPEDIEM SUITE HOTEL - the balcony view here is stunning, highly recommended.

Here you'll find crystal-clear water, pine trees, mountain views, and a sandy beach with a bit of pebbles at the start. Walk from Moonlight Beach towards Yoruk Park for the best views of the sea, rocks, mountains, and sunset. Few people, very atmospheric. For dinner, I recommend Dakapo Beach Club Kemer — dancing after 8 PM, great music. Afterward, you can head back to Antalya.
