It's a bit off the beaten path between Rome and Florence, so it takes about two hours by train from either Rome or Florence. I stayed overnight on my way from Rome to Florence, and arrived in Assisi late in the afternoon, so I wasn't able to see much of the cathedral or other places. Nestled in this quiet neighborhood, the restaurant is so popular that reservations are often fully booked, making it impossible to dine without one. It's always disappointing not to be able to visit a place you want to try, especially when traveling, as you may not get another chance to return. Fortunately, a kind-hearted staff member allowed us to dine on the condition that we finish our meal within an hour. Of course, we eagerly agreed and entered. We had the chance to enjoy pasta sprinkled with truffle, accompanied by soft potatoes. At first, the truffle aroma might seem unusual, but it becomes increasingly addictive. Their truffle pasta is one of the most popular dishes here.
