The monument is located in Astana at 14 Nurzhol Boulevard. This is the central axis of the left bank of the Ishim River. The tower is visible from afar, making it a landmark during walks around the city. You can get there by any bus or minibus that travels along the central avenues; ask to stop at the "Monument-Baiterek" stop. Baiterek consists of several levels. The lower, underground level of the monument houses a small museum, an art gallery, and a souvenir shop. Ascending the glass shaft in a high-speed elevator, you immediately find yourself on the second level, where there is a café and the observation deck itself with panoramic windows. To reach the third level, you need to climb a staircase where you can see two so-called altars. The first is called Ayaly-Alakan, which means "Kind Palm."
