Beautiful Jewel Cave
There are a few caves in Augusta but one of the largest ones is the Jewel Cave in Perth. This crystal encrusted cave shows massive beauty and if you ask me, I would say please please go visit it because it is worth it. I visited the jewel cave with my two children, a toddler and a five year. Surprisingly, the cave trail was not difficult as there are proper pathways and stairs. It was not dark, instead it was brightly lit and my kids were not afraid throughout their whole time in the cave. In fact, they were mesmerized by the cave's beauty. The cave tour is a guided tour and last for about an hour. The guide provides a good explanation on how the cave was discovered and how the crystals are formed. I would say it was an educational tour for all of us. #celebratewithtrip #mytripvlog #tripblazers #urbanexplorer #awesomepic #passionpassport #perth

Jewel Cave... A Gem of an attraction!
Just south of Margaret River this is an absolutely stunning place to visit. We booked on the tour, which are hourly and the guides are very knowledgeable, sharing lots of interesting facts and history about the cave.
It's quite a way down with a few viewing platforms that break up the 250 steps! and we got to spend a few minutes at each stage to soak up the atmosphere and marvel at the formations! The tour last for about an hour and we'll worth the entrance fee.
It is an amazing experience, with plenty of photo and video opportunities.
I bought some crystals and keyring souvenirs in the lovely gift shop, and then visited the cafe that serves great food... we sat outside on a decking area to eat our fresh scones with jam and cream... a typical and welcome treat for me as a British person! The tour lasted for about an hour... but the experience and memories will last a lifetime! I could have easily stayed longer, just soaking up the atmosphere of this beautiful cave.
Hamelin Bay Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jul)
Hamelin Bay Beach
#thingstodo
We enjoyed seeing the the stingrays lapping and flapping gracefully along the beach shoreline. Some people were wading in and touching them, which I didn't think was very eco-wise. However they didn't seem to mind.
We had a swim further up the beach past the jetty away from the stingrays. It was lovely but granddaughter saw a shark cruise past where we had just been swimming. The water visibility was very good and we didn't venture far, but there seem to be a lot of sharks around this season in WA beaches (according to the newspaper). So swimming is a bit risky but we were lucky and enjoyed our swim in the clear blue waters..
This is the second time we have stayed at Hamelin Bay.I just love it.Where can you go and interact with Stingrays every day of the week. Good swimming beach and part of the Cape to Cape. There was a bit of seaweed this time in the water but we had just had a storm so to be expected.Boat ramp, kiosk where you can get a coffee, lots of bird life and pristine beaches. We always stay for a coupld of days and enjoy relaxing but if you dont have that sort of time make sure you spend an afternoon there.Stunning

Very relax and the weather was nice

Beautiful Hamelin Bay
I always like hitting the beach because the sound of the waves just calms you and with the good sun, you can happily soak in as much vitamin D. And just walking in the fine white sand, just feels therapeutic.
At Hamelin bay, you can definitely feel the same above with the sun, sand and sea. It is a beach located in Perth, between Cape Leeuwin and cape naturaliste. The beach is quite quiet with only few people seen but that is good if you want some peace and less disturbance. Also, if you were to take a dip or swim close to the coastline, sometimes you may be lucky enough to spot stingrays. Look into the sky, and sometimes you may see eagles and sparrowhawk flying above you as well. The turquoise waters and the fine white sand of Hamelin bay is a worth it trip!

Cape Leeuwin Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jul)
CAPE LEEUWIN - Australia's most southwestern Cape, the intersection of the Southern Ocean and the Indian Ocean, is the cape of the world that can see two magnificent oceans except the Cape of Good Hope. When I came last time, it was cloudy, and the children who were not 4 years old could not board the lighthouse, so they did not have fun. This time, the scorching sun, 40 degrees high temperature, this kind of enthusiasm coincides with the beauty of the ocean, with a more magical feeling, boarded the lighthouse, the heroic feeling came to life. Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse
#wheretogo
Tallest lighthouse in mainland Australia and stands on the meeting point between two oceans.
Quite a historical site and sight! Pay $20 to understand the history and climb up the lighthouse- it's worth the trip!
Just make sure you have some warm clothes/a windbreaker cause the winds can get pretty intense.
