Because of a cup of red Turkish tea, I kept returning to this Sydney Turkish restaurant.

Hidden Gem by the Water in Wentworth Point, Sydney: Bosphorus Turkish Street Food. More than just street food, this is a place I've actually revisited several times. I didn't have high expectations the first time, as the name sounds like a casual street food spot, but after sitting down and eating, I found it to be far more thoughtful than I imagined, making it easy to go back again and again.
📍 Location, Transportation, and Dining Environment
The restaurant is located in Marina Square, near Footbridge Boulevard, not far from the waterfront promenade. It's a short walk to the waterfront after your meal, perfect for an after-dinner stroll.
Address: Bosphorus Turkish Street Food
Address: 321/5 Footbridge Boulevard, Marina Square, Wentworth Point NSW 2127, Australia
🚗 By Car:
Parking is available near Marina Square, but it's recommended to arrive early during peak hours or weekends.
🚆 Public Transportation: Take a train or bus to a nearby stop and walk from there; the walking distance is short.
The overall environment is a relaxed, clean, neighborhood restaurant. It's not fancy, but very comfortable, especially suitable for gatherings with friends or a casual meal. The atmosphere is particularly good in the evening.
🍵 The first thing that catches my eye is the red Turkish tea.
What truly made me remember this place was actually a cup of Turkish tea. The color is a beautiful, clear, deep red, served in a classic small glass—it looks very ceremonial. The taste is mild and not bitter, perfectly complementing the food. Now, I drink it almost every time I come.
🥙 Their Turkish Pide is very fresh. When you tear it apart while it's hot, the outer layer is slightly chewy, and the inside is soft; it's delicious even on its own.
I've tried Gozleme in many places, but this is the one I've had that best-tasting, freshly made texture: the outer crust is thin but not dry, and the filling is hot and moist, especially delicious when it's fresh out of the oven. If you previously thought all Gozleme were pretty much the same, this might change your mind.
🍖 Once I ordered a snack pack, expecting just a small side dish, but it turned out to be a huge plate of grilled meat—enough to be a main meal.
🍽️ Must-order recommendations (based on personal experience and high ratings):
✔ Turkish black tea
✔ Freshly made Gozleme
✔ Turkish flatbread Pide
✔ Charcoal Shish / Mixed Skewer Plate
✔ Kebab Roll / Plate
✔ Dipping sauce combo (with hot flatbread)
⭐ Overall impression: This isn't just "fast food street food," but classic Turkish dishes made with fresh ingredients and many items freshly prepared. Generous portions, consistent flavor, a relaxed atmosphere, and a waterfront location make it a restaurant I easily return to. For me, it's become a staple in Wentworth Point.
