Chamonix, France is a resort area near Switzerland and Italy. It sits at the base of the highest summit in the Alps, Mount Blanc. When we finally made it to the top of the mountain, we were greeted with snow and fog. On a clear day, you would normally see massive peaks and breathtaking views of the town below. #localescapes if you like mountain walking and like heavenly feelings, then Tour de Mont Blanc should be on your bucket list! having done it in seven days, I would suggest: 1- pick the right month - Jul and Aug are peak rush and expensive months so try Sep - absolutely brilliant weather, easy to find accommodations and route isn't heaving. 2- split the stages in order to have average mileage each day. 3 - travel light - don't need hot clothing. 4 - and make sure you have plenty of liquid to keep you going. #bucketlistreboot Royal Palace of Cambodia is located in the center of Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. The ornate palace complex was constructed in 4 years spanning from 1866 1870 and serves as home to monarchs in Cambodia. The palace boasts exquisite Khmer architecture at its best and inspired by Buddhist Pagoda style that we can find in many structures over Thailand. When we visited in 2017, it was open for public to visit however it seems to have closed to public since pandemic and still closed until today. There was an entrance fee to be paid and the entrant was required to dress modestly. Must visit when you are in capital of Cambodia.

Getting There - drive or take the train from Paris Attractions - cable car up to Aiguulle du midi Hotels - many ski resorts to choose from with exceptional views of Mont Blanc Food & Restaurants - lots of different cuisines to choose from in town Shopping - limited shopping in this ski resort but there’s a local grocery with many food and drink options Highly recommend to book the day pass which includes a train ride to the glacier as well. Do book in advance as tickets may be sold out during busy seasons (ski season or summer season). Prepare your cameras as the journey up the mountain is especially breathtaking

Mountain Top, Cloud and Snow

Nothing can best describe this place. it feels like Heaven. Take 2 Cable Cars and then we are at 3848m height. Above the Cloud. It is lucky for us as the day is super sunny. Temperature at -7 degree C. it can be lower. So, be prepared. Winter jacket, hat and winter gloves may be needed. such amazing view from different sides. you can even go up more and get another cable round trip to have a panoramic view of Mont Blanc. it is one of the best Alps experience I have ever done. Dont want to spoil your surprise. this is a truly magic place. the restaurant is pretty decent food with good price. you can have a good full meal here.
