Azores is the new TREND in the world
Azores island are getting famous. They are in the MIDDLE of the Atlantic Ocean 😱 Each time more tourists are going there. The Vulcan islands are rich in nature, animals and good views. We spent 1 month there and did 2 islands: Ilha de São Miguel and Ilha do Faial. The prices are very reasonable for dinners and for hotels. I strongly recommend you to go! 👏🏻

horta beautiful island of Portugal
One of the most magical trips we did this year was the trip to the Azores: group of islands half way between Europe and America, lost in the infinite blue of the Atlantic Ocean.
A hidden gem that often overlooked by tourists but a very deserving place to be on anyone’s bucket list.
Lash greenery contrasting with black volcanic rocks, natural pools and majestic volcanic lakes, mountains, waterfalls, hot springs.. You name it, they have it
Hiking, diving, relaxing, fine dining - there is an activity for every type of tourist.
We have visited 3 of the islands and each one was a new adventure that we loved.
Can’t wait to come back here again to explore the rest of this magnificent destination! #azores #island #bucketlistdestination #naturalwonders #travelinspiration
Vineyards & Breathtaking Nature
#myhiddengems
There is no way a frequent traveller to Europe or someone that relishes European holiday hasn't frequented Portugal. This gem of a country has so much work in its favour when it comes to holiday destinations. Clubbed with a summer and spirit of adventure. Might i recommend you the nature getaway that Azores can be.
Located in the Atlantic ocean. Azores, consists of 9 islands spread out to the west of Portugal, all of which offer unique features, activities, and cultures.
Irrespective of which islands you choose to visit, you’ll find new natural feats that give each island a unique personality. As we’ll talk about later, you’ll see dormant volcanic formations, winding caves, lively forests, and much more. And that’s not all! Region-specific plants and animals are scattered, hidden around the land.
My personal favourite activity is Vineyards and this place has a UNESCO heritage vineyard. Making the culinary experience a step above others. Some of the island's specialities or popular local foods include cheese, seafood, and exotic fruits. In fact, cheese from the Azores is so tasty that half of Portugal’s supply comes from the island.
During my time there i explored multiple historic sites that are UNESCO heritage. Pico island vineyard cannot be missed. Depending on the season it could also be a great spot for dolphin and whale watching. You will find plenty of good accommodations to suit a variety of budgets. In the past I have stayed in 2 different boutique styled places.
It is absolutely worth a holiday here. The best part and whole tourists are starting to show up. Azores still continue to not be as crowded as other popular destinations in Portugal. Especially if you’re tired of crowded European beaches, noisy hotels, tour groups and artificial cultural experiences, then this is the way to go. #myhiddengems #naturedestinations #beachlife #azores #islandgetaway #100waysoftravel #solotrip #europe #singapore

San Miguel Island "Seven Lakes City"
San Miguel Island floats in the clouds, with Blue Lake, Green Lake and a beautiful legend associated with it. The minerals in the black volcanic lava on the west coast make the sea water a deep blue.
Beautiful hot spring town Furnas
Furnas town is located in the valley area of the east of Sao Miguel Island, and outside the town is the famous Furnas Lake, a volcanic lake. Steam occasionally erupts from the cracks in the rocks on the lakeshore, and there is a smell of sulfur in the air. Local people use geothermal energy to cook, and tourists can taste authentic cuisine "Furnas stew" here. The melodious bell of the small church brings peace and tranquility to people's minds, and various flowers are planted in the courtyards on both sides of the street, as well as green lawns. Parque Terra Nostra, built in 1775, is the most characteristic hot spring in the area, with a yellow water surface emitting a faint rust smell, and the water temperature is about 40 degrees. In the botanical garden, trees, flowers and plants are flourishing, and being there is like walking in a fairyland.
