Transportation
- Bus: Take bus No. 24, 285, B16, etc. Get off at Baiyun Cableway Station, Yuntai Garden Station, etc.
- Subway: Take the subway to Xiaogang Station or Baiyun Culture Square Station, then transfer to a bus or walk.
- Self-driving: Take the Guangyuan Expressway, Guangzhou Avenue North, etc. There are parking lots around the scenic area.
Tickets and Opening Hours
Tickets: CNY 5 per person. Some attractions, such as Moxing Ridge, require an additional ticket. The scenic area is open 24 hours.
Recommended Attractions
- Yuntai Garden: A large garden with exotic flowers and plants, blooming all year round, with exquisite sculptures and fountains.
- Mingchungu: The largest natural birdcage in China, where you can see rare birds and parrot performances.
- Nengren Temple: A historic temple with magnificent architecture, where you can experience the Buddhist culture.
- Moxing Ridge: The highest peak of Baiyun Mountain, where you can overlook the beautiful scenery of Guangzhou. There are also attractions such as the Wishing Tree.
- Mingzhu Tower Scenic Area: Beautiful natural scenery with lakes, grasslands, etc. Peach blossoms bloom in spring in Taohuajian.
Food and Shopping
- Food: Baiyun Mountain Food Street offers Guangzhou specialties such as rice rolls and beef offal, as well as Baiyun Mountain Vegetarian Restaurant.
- Shopping: There are shops in the scenic area selling Baiyun Mountain honey, tea, and other specialties, as well as various souvenirs.
Travel Tips
Visit Yuntai Garden and Mingchungu in the morning, have lunch at the food street, pray at Nengren Temple in the afternoon, then climb Moxing Ridge, and take a walk in Mingzhu Tower Scenic Area in the evening.
