Norway, the lake is always calm, hiding the memories you don't want to lose
If you ask me which Nordic country is the most worth visiting, it must be Norway, known as the 'Lonely Planet'. In Norway, 'people who meet will meet again'
Going to Norway was originally planned for hiking and fjords, but unexpectedly, I was shocked by the fairy-tale-like dreamy beauty along the way and successfully took the cable car
At the top of the mountain, I saw the pink sky and chased whales to the Arctic Circle, and waited for the aurora by the lake
The snow scenery ceiling is definitely worth a look, the aftereffect is really strong
Here are a few spots I think are very worth visiting:
Stavanger: Although it is an old town and quite small, I personally really like the colorful streets here
Fargegaten, the colorful little houses are really like a fairy tale world, and there are many museums
Bergen: Strongly recommend taking the Snow Country Train, whether it's a miniature of Norway or the direct Oslo-Bergen train, the scenery on both sides is beautiful, we were lucky that day to see 'Altocumulus lenticularis' and the sunset glow was absolutely stunning
Flåm Mountain Railway: Along the way, you will see waterfalls flying down from the sky, mountain streams, ribbon-like clouds, deep canyons and Norwegian forests, the huge drop brings breathtaking scenery, condensing the beauty of Norway's fjords, each frame is like a postcard
Sognefjord: Norway's longest and deepest fjord, taking a cruise through it, the towering mountains on both sides and the emerald green water surface complement each other, it's incredibly beautiful, there are also three other fjords that I think are also worth visiting
Trollstigen: The winding road twists and turns up along the cliff, with 11 sharp turns, known as one of the 12 most dangerous roads in the world, be sure to pay attention to safety if you go!!!
This is my 7-day itinerary, I feel like I haven't seen enough and I will come back next time
Day1 Oslo departure - Heddal Stave Church - Hardangervidda National Park - Stavanger
Day2 Stavanger - Lysefjord - Preikestolen
Day3 Bergen - Mount Fløyen - Bryggen Old Town - Fish Market
Day4 Voss - Flåm - Sogndal
Day5 Briksdal Glacier - Geirangerfjord
Day6 Atlantic Road - Trollstigen - Atlantic Ocean Road - Finnøy
Day7 Ålesund - Oslo
Norway's Natural Wonders: A Journey Through the Sognefjord with Norway in a Nutshell
For this winter trip, I chose to visit Norway and participate in the Norway in a Nutshell tour! In simple terms, it's a one-day itinerary that takes you through famous landmarks. Norway's scenery is among the most beautiful I've ever seen! Besides witnessing the natural wonders, you can also enjoy vast snow-covered landscapes and mountain views! This time, I mainly took a boat from Gudvangen to Flam, and the scenery along the way was truly eye-opening! While the boat was heading to its destination, I captured many wonderful snowy landscapes and admired the spectacular views of the Sognefjord! It's definitely worth it, and I recommend visiting in winter to see the snow!
Norwegian Fjord Cruise: Exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sognefjord
The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sognefjord (Geirangerfjord) in Norway is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and unique fjord landscape. A Norwegian fjord cruise offers a chance to explore this magnificent place by boat. As the vessel navigates the winding fjord, passengers can admire the steep mountains, waterfalls, and lush green scenery. Tickets for the cruise can be purchased in advance on the official website. However, if you're unsure about your schedule, you can also buy tickets upon arrival. While there is only one ferry company available online, you will find a cheaper alternative upon arrival. Due to the less favorable weather on the day of my visit, I opted for the cheaper option. The route was quite similar, though the more popular ferry was more aesthetically pleasing.
Souls of the Fjord~Sognefjord.
Norway, a land stretching long from north to south in Scandinavia, has half of its terrain consisting of fjords, with a coastline that is mostly jagged, hence Norway is also known as the 'Country of Fjords'.
Sognefjord (Sognefjorden), the world's second longest and Norway's longest fjord, has many branches, with the deepest inland branch being Lustrafjorden, and the southern branch – Nærøyfjord, both of which are listed as World Heritage Sites.
Spanning more than two-thirds the length of Taiwan, the entire Sognefjord is dotted with many seaside towns nestled between the mountains, becoming even more beautiful due to their location in the deep, long fjords and against the backdrop of majestic peaks.
We boarded the ferry in the small town at the deepest part of Nærøyfjord in Gudvangen, which is the starting and ending point of the fjord ferry. Notable attractions include the Viking Village, and the surrounding scenery of Gudvangen is stunning, boasting the most magnificent fjord views. The journey is breathtakingly beautiful, with nature's craftsmanship on full display, leaving one in awe. Passing through some towns, the houses are scattered in the valleys, creating a tranquil fjord and a picturesque scene full of poetry that is captivating.
Visiting the fjord relies on luck, as the weather is unpredictable, so good weather gives us the opportunity to appreciate the beautiful scenery. Therefore, being able to see such endlessly vast and beautiful vistas of the fjord is truly enchanting and exhilarating!

Around the Sognefjord, there are many different styles of accommodation facilities to meet different budget and taste needs.
From the luxurious and comfortable fjord view hotel, the price per night is about 2000-3000 Norwegian kroner (about RMB 1600-2400), to the economical and local characteristic guest houses or campsites, the price is usually 800-1500 Norwegian kroner (about 650-1200 yuan).

Travel and photography: Norway
When in Norway, don't miss out on the delicious food, beautiful scenery, and unforgettable moments.
Due to its geographical location, Norway, known as the "Kingdom of Fjords", has countless fjords of all sizes. Among them, the Sognefjord is the largest and the longest and deepest fjord in the world, with a total length of 204 kilometers. You can enjoy the fjords by taking a boat or a train through waterfalls, and experience a visual impact.
Salmon 🍣 is a must-try delicacy when visiting Norway, without a doubt. Due to the clear water, it produces abundant salmon and various seafood. In addition to enjoying fresh food, locals also pickle some of it and serve it with sour cream. Although it may lack the fresh tenderness when eaten, the combination of sour and sweet from the sour cream and the salty taste from pickling creates a unique flavor.
Vigeland Sculpture Park. Walking into the park, you will be immediately attracted by the lifelike sculptures. They are all works carved by Master Vigeland himself for more than 20 years, and we sincerely admire the delicacy and skill of his heart and hands. There are 192 sculptures in the park, with a total of 650 character statues. Each sculpture has a theme, and although there are many, the layout is reasonable and pleasing to the eye.
Oslo City Hall, the economic center of the capital Oslo and the venue for the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.
HEAVEN ON EARTH 🇳🇴
This is Sognefjord (sog-nef-feeyod). The second longest and the deepest fjord in the World. Also called "Norway in a Nutshell”.
It is one of the most stunning fjords in western part of Norway. It can be done for a day trip by train and boat and see amazing waterfalls with spectacular mountains and cozy harbors.
Travelling here is more like refreshing your mind and self-reflect. You will gain a better understanding of who you are and learn the greatness of nature and absolute power of the Creator. Mighty & Majestic. 🪐 Make a trip guys!
