#timetotravel Built in 1591 Bantay Bell Tower has become one of the Iconic landmarks in Ilocos. There is no entrance fee here but I highly encourage you to donate just to support them maintain this historic structure. I also suggest that you go there early in the morning, like before 9 o'clock to avoid a lot of other tourists. Make sure to also climb up to the tower and see a great view of Bantay and Vigan. If you like to explore old and historical structures then this is a must for you to visit in while in Ilocos. Trip to Vigan, Philippines 🇵🇭

It was a trip to Vigan, Philippines with friends. We explored this charming city and discovered the best spots for photos and cultural immersion. We arrived in Vigan and immediately headed to Calle Crisologo, the heart of the city’s heritage. Walking down the cobblestone street felt like stepping back in time. The preserved Spanish-era houses 🏠 are perfect for taking pictures during the late afternoon when the sunlight softens, creating a warm glow. We stayed until the evening to capture photos of the street lit by antique lamps, a magical experience. 📍Calle Crisologo, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur We also visited Bantay Bell Tower, a historic watchtower offering panoramic views of Vigan and the surrounding countryside. The sunrise here is breathtaking 😍highly recommended for photographers and history enthusiasts alike 🙌🙌🙌 We then explored Hidden Garden, a peaceful haven filled with lush greenery and native plants🪴 We enjoyed taking pictures amidst the tropical surroundings and trying their refreshing Ilocano drinks at the on-site café 🍹 📍Bantay Church, Bantay, Ilocos Sur At night, we visited the Vigan Dancing Fountain in Plaza Salcedo. The lights, music, and water choreography were mesmerizing and made for stunning video captures. We’d recommend going early to get a good spot for viewing. Before leaving Vigan, we stopped by Vigan Cathedral (St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral). The grandeur of its architecture and serene atmosphere make it a must-visit for photos 📸 and quiet reflection.
