There is a small path leading up to it, though some parts are quite steep. In my opinion, the last 30 feet or so are too steep for those who are frail or use wheelchairs. However, once you reach the top, the view is absolutely spectacular. The scenery of the town of Begur and its surrounding areas is stunning. So, relax and enjoy the view. It’s not crowded, or at least it wasn’t crowded when we visited, as it was a weekday.

This historic quarter is a very traditional and colorful place, dominated by the ruins of a simple castle built on the rocks, which dates back to the 15th century. You can still admire the old walls and five defense towers built between the 16th and 17th centuries. The use of stone is a characteristic of the popular architecture in the area. The old fishing area by the beach has become an important residential and tourist area.
