Beidaihe Gold Coast, the new photo punching place is here!
A few days ago, I came back from Qindaidao Beidaihe. I have to say that Qinhuangdao is really a good place to take a summer vacation. There is no summer heat. I walked by the sea, and the sea breeze blows away and blows away the heat. It was cool and so comfortable.
In Beidaihe these days, I found a good place to take pictures! There are various kinds of red card punching elements here, such as seaside swings, hot air balloons, helicopters, glass boats, and bird nests! The background is the sea, and the endless sea is super good!
Here is the fishing island, located in Changli County, next to the Anaya community. But here is more suitable for vacation! It is a great place to relax! There is a lavender manor on the fishing island. This is the season of lavender bloom. The purple ocean is so beautiful. The small train around the lavender manor is also a good shot. The retro-style train is also a special style!
There are also exciting outdoor hot springs! There are several large pools in the outdoor hot springs. I probably have no one at 7 o'clock in the past. Oh, and the sunset glow is super beautiful.
The island is not only suitable for a family vacation, but also suitable for taking photos with girlfriends. In the few days here, I feel like I have given myself a long vacation, and my body and mind have been relaxed! ! And to be honest, its better than Anaya! Praise
Beidaihe.
Beidaihe is located in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, next to the Bohai Sea. A seaside city.
Play in the water, dig sand, catch crabs, and collect shells on the beach, and surf in the sea.
A seaside town for family vacations!

Off-season travel experience in Beidaihe
I think traveling in the off-season is great for someone like me who doesn't swim! There are fewer people, it's very pleasant and quiet, and you can take photos without worry. But❗️note that it's a bit cold now! It's still okay to go after the National Day holiday but within mid-October! Later, you need to rest more and keep warm, as the sea breeze is strong, so wear more clothes and a hat! Another thing is that many restaurants are closed in the off-season, and there are almost no snack stalls, but this is not a big problem for me.
📍Sharing my check-in route
🚞I traveled from Beijing to Beidaihe Station, departing in the morning and arriving around 1 PM, and left the next afternoon.
🏠If you want to save money, you can stay in a homestay near Laohushi. It's very convenient for traveling. There are many homestays in Liuzhuang, and the prices are very cheap. In the off-season, you can book a room after you arrive. I found that the prices posted in the store were cheaper than online (homestays are not as comfortable as hotels and are a bit worse in various aspects). Some supermarkets directly rent out bicycles, 40💰 per day. If you are not driving, you really need to rent an electric bike! It's very convenient. There are also some seafood restaurants and other eateries around (although most are closed). We bought a group deal at one place, which was quite cost-effective and very delicious, right next to the homestay (some places might be average, so check reviews and be discerning).
🗺️After arriving at noon and having lunch, we went directly to Laohushi Beach. You can see the sunset around 5 PM (the sunset in the picture). It would have been even more beautiful if the weather was better. We only visited this one spot on the first afternoon, then rode around a bit before heading back (it was a bit cold in the evening).
The second day! If you want to catch the sunrise by the sea, I highly recommend going to Biluota! We couldn't get up early and went at noon. Biluota is super quiet in the off-season, with hardly anyone there, making it very pleasant and peaceful. It's also a great place for taking photos. Around noon, the tide had just receded, leaving many shells 🐚 on the shore, and I picked up quite a few beautiful ones, haha.
Summary✅ Because the weather on the second day wasn't as good as the first, we didn't go to the planned spots and only visited these two. But I think it was enough. I was really happy to find that the seawater was still clear. Later at Biluo Bay, I couldn't resist taking off my shoes and socks to play in the water. It was really fun.

Sunrise and sunset at Beidaihe Beach in Qinhuangdao
Super easy guide to watching the sunrise at Beidaihe in Qinhuangdao! ||| Working in Beijing, I impulsively decided to go to Beidaihe to watch the sunrise, and here's a travel guide you can copy~
🏠 Before going, I saw that Tiger Stone Park was a good spot for sunrise, so I chose a hotel nearby. After arriving, I found that the area was full of hotels, and since it's the off-season, prices are generally between 100-200.
🌅 The hotels in the vicinity are just a few minutes' walk from Tiger Stone Park, but around six o'clock the park gates are still closed, and everyone climbs over the gate to get in (uh...). Make sure to check the sunrise time in advance, and after watching it, you can go back to sleep, which is super comfortable.
🏞️ Actually, besides the beach, there aren't many fun places in Beidaihe, and many shops are closed during the off-season. However, the city's architecture is very European, so you can stroll around in the afternoon, take pictures, enjoy the breeze by the sea, and watch the sunset right here in the evening! Yes, you can see both sunrise and sunset here!
🍜 There are many seafood restaurants locally, but as someone from inland, I don't like seafood so I didn't try it. The night market closest to Tiger Stone is called Qinhuang Alley, which has a lot of food, and you can take a taxi there, buy food, and bring it back to the hotel to eat.
🚃 For the train station, choose Beidaihe Station (not Qinhuangdao Station), which is closer to Tiger Stone Park. It takes over three hours from Beijing to Beidaihe on a green train, with tickets around 45. My ticket was on standby, and it felt pretty easy to get.
🚗 Local taxis are quite expensive, and taxi fares accounted for one-third of our total expenses. I suggest you take a look at public transportation.
🛝 In the afternoon, we also went to Pigeon Nest Park, which has an entrance fee of 35. I thought we could watch the sunset there, but after arriving, I realized we couldn't see it at all; the whole sea faces east! The sun sets behind us... But it's still pretty good for taking pictures!
🤔 Other: There are a lot of people trying to get you to go on a boat tour, we ignored them. I don't know if there are any traps in this, so everyone should be cautious and discerning.
In Beidaihe, China it was amazing

A Magnificent Trip to Beidaihe
Beidaihe is a district in the city of Qinghuangdao, China, Hebei province. First of all, it’s famous for its countless beaches where lots of tourists spend their time in July, August, or sometimes in September. We stayed in Jinhai Hotel for a few nights, and then moved to another hotel close to the Seaside. Besides Qinhuangdao is famous for the beginning of Chinese Great Wall in the district of Shanhaiguan. #Chinese #seaside #historicallandmarks
This is the best choice for watching the sunrise
Pigeon Nest Park in Beidaihe, Qinhuangdao is an old scenic spot. I have been here in the early 1980s. At that time, it could not be called a park, but a place where you can climb to watch the sunrise. The current Pigeon Nest Park, after renovation and construction, is a good seaside scenic area, and it is still the best place for tourists to watch the sunrise. The various sceneries in the park are very distinctive. There are many tourists in summer, and autumn is a good season for play.
