A café with a lush garden full of sunlight in beautiful Bangalore 🌿✨☕. ☕ Katte Kulture Coffee 📍 425, 18th Main Road, 4th T Block East, Jayanagar, Bengaluru, India 🕰 08:00 – 22:00 🛵 Parking available It was my first time visiting South India, and I was determined to get out and explore the café scene in Bangalore. I was quite surprised that, even in mid-May, the morning weather in Bangalore was only about 22–23°C — much cooler and more pleasant than the summer heat in Saigon right now 😙. I chose @katte.kulture as my first stop because I was impressed by the garden-style space filled with greenery. I arrived around 10:30 AM, and the weather was still cool and comfortable enough to sit outdoors. The café offers a variety of machine-brewed coffee options, and what caught my attention was seeing “Vietnamese coffee” on the menu — a familiar drink made with sweetened condensed milk, something every Vietnamese person knows well. Curious, I asked why it wasn’t just called “Vietnamese coffee” 😂. I tried their latte made with a blend of 70% Arabica and 30% Robusta beans — lightly roasted, aromatic, smooth, and right up my alley. The staff here were also super friendly and welcoming. Though it’s a little outside the city center, the café experience I had at Katte — and in Bangalore overall — was quite satisfying and full of great memories. If you ever visit this lovely city, definitely head out and experience the local café culture!

There are many paintings, sculptures, and photos of the old times. However, photos are prohibited which is why I only took photos of the outside of the palace. 📍KR Market: Going to the market is always a must when going to a new country because you can see the authentic life of the interaction of the local people. There are many colorful spices and fruit and vegetables sold at the KR Market. I get to learn about the local tropical climate food, which is very interesting to me. 📍Lalbagh Botanical Garden: This garden can be dated back to 1760. It is full of historical significance in Bangalore. There, you can see many tropical plants in India. 📍ISCON Temple: Krishna is one of the major Hindu Gods. If you like the Hare Krishna movement, ISCON Temple is the main temple for it. You can join their meditation every morning from 4a.m. and attend their courses on Hindu studies. It’s a very sacred place. You can visit it even if you’re not religious. 📍Nandi Temple: In India, cows and bulls are sacred, and Nandi is the bull of the Hindu God, Shiva. 🍛Indian Cuisine · Dosa (South India) · Idli (South India) · Palak paneer (my personal favorite Indian food) · Ladoo (sweets) · Kesar Peda (sweets) · Bangalore coffee (Bangalore is known as the coffee capital of India) 🥥Coconut!
