#100WaysOfTravel
I recently embarked on an unforgettable adventure in Los Angeles and Huntington Beach! The journey began with a thrilling visit to Dodger Stadium, where I cheered on the Dodgers amidst a sea of passionate fans. Next, I strolled through Beverly Hills, soaking in the luxury and stopping at the iconic hotel from "Pretty Woman." The adventure continued at Huntington Beach, where I basked in the sun, watched playful seals, and was amazed by sightings of dolphins and a majestic blue whale. This trip perfectly blended the vibrant energy of LA with the serene beauty of the California coast—truly a dream holiday!

The Maybourne Beverly Hills
Staying at The Maybourne Beverly Hills was an unforgettable luxury experience 🌟. The hotel exudes an elegant and upscale atmosphere 🏨, and the rooms are comfortable and equipped with modern amenities 🛏️. I enjoyed delicious meals and a variety of gourmet breakfasts at the hotel's fine dining restaurants 🍳🥐. The spa was an ideal place to relax and unwind 💆♀️. The hotel's excellent location allowed for shopping at nearby high-end stores and strolling through the beautiful surrounding area 🌸🛍️. The service was exceptional, and the staff were always ready to help with a smile 😊. It was a wonderful stay, and I look forward to returning to The Maybourne Beverly Hills soon.

Walk into American TV Series | Explore the City of Angels, Los Angeles
The place where you see Los Angeles the most is probably in American TV series. Finally, I had the chance to drive along Highway 1 and see the real-life scenes from the TV.
The most unforgettable thing about Los Angeles, besides the purple beach of Santa Monica, is the high parking fees! $40/hour, I guess I won't have the chance to park in a more expensive parking lot in my lifetime.
✅ Attractions Introduction:
Universal Studios - A collection of roller coasters, highly recommend the Harry Potter themed area, the level of detail is just too high!
Griffith Observatory - The sun sets around 19:00-20:00, you can see the purple-pink sky and the golden observatory;
Desert Hills Premium Outlets - It is said to have 180 brands, including Fendi, Burberry, BV, but no LV or Gucci. It's good for buying American local brands, and out-of-season Coach items are really cheap!
Beverly Hills - The name itself sounds high-end, a collection of various brands, don't miss it if you want to shop!
Santa Monica Beach - Next to the Pacific Ocean! The best time for photos is in the evening when you can capture the pink sky. ⚠️ The parking meters on the roadside charge $2.5/hour, and you have to buy at least 3 hours!
Angels Flight - The famous scene in LALA LAND where the male and female leads kiss is on Angels Flight. This short 1KM railway is built on a slope and witnessed the brief but beautiful love between Mia and Sebastian;
Grand Central Market - Foreign markets always have a kind of allure, just like the market in Barcelona redefined my understanding of markets. Most stores in LA start their business day at 10 AM;
Staples Center - The timing wasn't right, it wasn't NBA season, so I couldn't get into the arena. Even though I'm not a basketball fan, I still hope to watch a game of the world-famous NBA;
✅ Car Rental and Usage:
⭕️ After exiting Los Angeles International Airport, follow the signs to the designated area to wait for your car rental company's shuttle bus;
⭕️ The shuttle bus will take you to the car rental hall, which is not far, about a 5-10 minute drive;
⭕️ Register yourself at the self-service kiosk to complete the car rental process, then go out and pick up the car;
⭕️ The actual car you get may be different from the model you booked (I booked a Corolla but got a Nissan), but it will be a vehicle of the same class;
⭕️ The car comes with a navigation system, but to be safe, it's better to use your phone's navigation to the hotel;
⭕️ The hotel only offers paid parking services, $36 per day (excluding tax), unlike in China where hotel parking is usually free;
⭕️ In the US, you can refuel at the machine with a chip-enabled credit card or go inside to the counter, tell the clerk the pump number, the fuel grade, and the amount, then go out and refuel yourself;
⭕️ At intersections in the US, if there is a stop sign, you must come to a complete stop and make sure there are no people before proceeding;
⭕️ If you encounter a school bus unloading or an ambulance, you must pull over and stop;
⭕️ ⚠️ Be sure to have sunglasses ready, the UV rays in LA are very strong, and the afternoon sun can easily make you feel tired;

Brandname Shopping Street in La
Rodeo Drive is another must-see spot in LA. The area is beautiful and picturesque. However, watch out for wannabe influencers flocking to the middle of the road to film tik tok dances on the double yellow lines. It is literally crazy how many of them almost got ran over and they just didn't care. People will honk at them also. Sometimes they'll even squat down for pictures, so you *really* don't see them until you're right on them if there are other cars ahead of you blocking your vision.

Beverly Hills, that’s where I want to be
Yes, you might not be able to afford anything in its trove of designer shops but a stop off in Los Angeles most upmarket neighbourhood is still worth it for those visiting the city.
A trip down Rodeo drive provides some of the best people watching in LA, the restaurants in the area are surprisingly affordable including the original Cheesecake Factory and of course you need to take a picture outside the famous sign and fountain #beverlyhills #losangeles #voyagevibes

Beautiful Beverly Hills
We decided to spend our first night in Beverly Hills before heading to DTLA and we enjoyed it so much. It was a restful two days after such a long flight from Singapore. The weather was cool but the beautiful sun was out in the blue skies so it was such a perfect sunny California welcome.
We stayed at Sirtaj Hotel which was a short stroll from Wilshire and Rodeo Drive. We met some friends for lunch at Il Pastaio so it was a great opportunity to stroll down Rodeo Drive.
Streets were clean and it is a shopping haven if you’ve got deep pockets which we didn’t so it was mostly a lot of sightseeing. There were some lovely mid-range brands too so we did a little damage there but not too crazy 😂
Even if you’re not shopping, it really is a beautiful area lined with luxury brands left and right. We were blessed with such gorgeous weather that day and if you ever go to Il Pastaio, get the squid ink pasta. It was not on the menu but our friends recommended it and specially requested it from the chef. So so good… it has to be one of the best squid ink pastas I’ve ever had. All in all, one of the most beautiful days on our trip to LA.

Trip to Beverly Hills 🇺🇸
If you’re heading to Beverly Hills for some shopping 🛍️ you’re in for an unforgettable experience. We recently visited, and let me tell you, it’s a place where both style and beauty collide, offering endless spots for taking stunning photos 📸 and shopping for exclusive items.
We started our journey at the iconic Rodeo Drive. This world-famous street is lined with designer boutiques. The towering palm trees, high-end storefronts, and luxurious window displays are picture-perfect, especially in the late morning when the lighting is just right for a sun-kissed ☀️ glow. You’ll want to grab a coffee and stroll down the street to capture the essence of Beverly Hills’ upscale charm. Don’t miss the chance to snap a photo 📸 by the famous Via Rodeo street sign.
📍328 N Rodeo Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210
We also explored the legendary Beverly Wilshire Hotel, which has been featured in films like Pretty Woman. The lobby is pure elegance, and even if you’re not staying there, you can enjoy a lavish afternoon tea 🫖 or simply take a few photos under the grand chandeliers. We found that the best time to visit is in the early afternoon when the space is less crowded, allowing you to enjoy the ambiance and take that perfect picture in peace 📸
📍9500 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90212
For a true taste of luxury, we also visited Barneys New York. This upscale department store is known for its exclusive fashion collections and high-end accessories. It’s the perfect place to find something unique, whether it’s a statement handbag 👜 or designer shoes 👠 that are hard to come by elsewhere. We recommend stopping here in the late afternoon when the crowds thin out a bit, making it easier to browse at your leisure.
📍9570 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90212
We also made a quick stop at Beverly Gardens Park, which stretches along Santa Monica Boulevard. It’s the perfect spot to take pictures in front of the iconic Beverly Hills sign. This is especially picturesque around sunset 🌅 when the soft lighting reflects off the water and adds a golden hue to your photos 📸 Afterward, you can relax by the rose 🌹 gardens or wander along the cacti garden, making for a peaceful yet scenic break from the bustling shopping streets.
📍9439 Santa Monica Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90210
Each of these stops gave us a taste of what Beverly Hills is truly about, opulence, style, and beauty. Whether you’re there for the shopping, the photo ops, or simply to soak in the atmosphere, you won’t be disappointed!

🌈 The holiday season is here, and many friends are planning to travel to Los Angeles from abroad.
❓ What kind of travel should be used in the United States?
⚠️ It is not recommended ❌ Some choose to join a tour group, but there are various inconveniences with tour groups, such as having to wake up early to catch a bus every day, and there might be many additional expenses, the itinerary is not free, and the travel experience is directly linked to the tour guide.
⚠️ It is not recommended ❌ Others talk about renting a car for a road trip in the United States, which is convenient, but there are also many problems. First of all, the traffic rules in the United States are very different from those at home, and you need to get a translation of your domestic driver's license. Secondly, being unfamiliar with the roads and finding parking can also be a big problem, as well as safety issues.

📍Rodeo Drive
Visited one of the most beautiful and luxurious street in Los Angeles during our recent trip there! It is located at the Beverly Hills, where most of the biggest stars reside. We spent around an hour walking around Rodeo Drive and it was an amazing experience. The entire street and area is filled with designers store from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dolce & Gabana, you name it. The buildings are all unique, with some minimal yet grand architectures, they look like they are straight from lego sets! How pretty and gorgeous! We took a lot of photos here, love the palm trees along the streets as well!

Come on~ Encounter Hollywood stars on this road
❇️First of all, let me explain the origin of these photos haha~
①This is a supplementary note~ I always forgot to write, actually it was taken on last Christmas
②Finally had a relaxed and happy weekend with my buddies, plus I was about to return to my country, I was very excited~
③I have been to Los Angeles many times, the weather is very good~ Let's take a walk up the mountain~
•
🅿️About parking:
Every time I come here, it's not very convenient to park. The roadside is basically full, and the value of the car is quite high, I dare not try my skills~ Then when you drive slowly, there will be handsome guys waving at you, it's actually okay, not very expensive, or navigate to the nearby parking lot before you go, it's just a matter of walking a few more steps~
•
❇️About the avenue:
Since going up the mountain, I can't stop at all, because they are all private residences, except for being amazed, I just sigh~ Rodeo Drive is at the foot of Beverly Hills~ It is the most high-end commercial street in Los Angeles, where some world-famous luxury brands and international top master designs are gathered. Chanel, Dior, Armani, D&G, Tiffany... Walking around, I found all big brands, each has its own unique design style; then walking on the road is like strolling on an art street~ And you will meet friends from all over the world here~ Even.... those familiar Hollywood stars~ Restaurants, supermarkets, hotels, etc. are all available here~
•
❇️Occasionally come here for a walk, have an afternoon tea, watch a sunset or something, actually it feels quite beautiful.
