This was my New Year holiday at Tinuy-an Falls, Mangagoy, Bislig City, Philippines. The location was a bit challenging though but we have manged the amazing scenery. Worth the travel. #happynewyear

Kawa-kawa Falls, a distinct natural wonder found in Bislig, Surigao del Sur, is one of the unique tourist attractions in the city. Kawa, in the vernacular means wok or frying pan, got its name as it resembles wok in different sizes. This body of water appears to be a natural pool as the water flows from the mountains. It is clean and flowing into the “bowls” There are a few diving decks where adrenaline junkies can surely enjoy! Also, small cottages are just around the area. At the hights of pandemic, I had the opportunity to treat my mother for a planned 5 days road trip all around Davao Oriental together with my 5 nieces!😅😅😅 During the trip, we decide to ride up north east and found an unspoiled paradise in Bislig City. We spent 1 night and 1 whole day at this place where we had a blast of beautiful experiences that we can all treasure. Its shore is long and undevided. The sand is so white and had a smooth and warmish feeling under your feet. The sea water is so clear and you can actually see the different kind of fish and other sea living creatures just 2-3 meters near the shore. Locals there were ready to help out if we want to catch fish for some unique seafood meals. The long lines of coconut trees where leaning towards the shore and so near that most of the time you can enjoy the beach with its shades and beauty. The waves where medium sized but consistent at day time even in lowtides but so great at night that its hard for us to sleep due to its thunderous humming. The clear blue skies are so mesmerizing to watch during sunset and the reddish horizon meets the sea lines is a pure marvel during sunrise!❤ The place was not part of our itinerary but the result of our unexpected adventure was all worth it! My mother was so happy that at her age of 70, she managed to endure the hassles of road tripping. 😁😁😁 I love you, Nanay!❤ #roadtrip2021 #mytripvlog
