Sydney Trip | Car-Free 5 Days 4 Nights In-Depth Travel Guide
| Car-Free 5 Days 4 Nights In-Depth Travel Guide.🎈Just returned from Australia, without renting a car, I relied on trains, buses, and walking to explore many amazing places. With the upcoming National Day holiday, I quickly organized a 5-day 4-night travel guide for friends planning to visit Sydney.💖
✅Day1: Sydney City
Wake up naturally and enjoy an Aussie brunch. Then take a stroll in Hyde Park, visit St. Mary's Cathedral and the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Have a coffee at Circular Quay, relax and enjoy the sea breeze. Climb up to the Observatory before 4:00 PM to quietly wait for Sydney's stunning sunset.🌇
✅Day2: Sydney Suburbs
In the morning, head to the University of Sydney to explore the Harry Potter building. In the afternoon, go to Bondi Beach, and in the evening, pick a big Australian lobster at the fish market. Whether sashimi or stir-fried with ginger and scallions, it's super delicious. The oysters and salmon here are also definitely worth trying.🦞
✅Day3: Sydney Surroundings
Take a train to Bowral town, enjoy a delicious lunch at The Press Shop, and browse the antique market Dirty Janes to feel the unique charm and tranquility of the town.🎐
✅Day4: Whale Watching
Every year from July to October is whale watching season, departing from Port Stephens. If you easily get seasick, be sure to take seasickness medicine in advance. The boat rocks a lot and it's windy, so remember to wear enough clothes.🐋
✅Day5: Zoo
Taronga Zoo is simply the best in my heart! It takes about 2-3 hours to tour the park, with many animal species. Taronga offers a great view of the Sydney Opera House, and the background of the giraffes is Sydney Harbour, making every photo a postcard.🦒

Bondi Beach is a slice of heaven where the waves greet you with a roar and the sun kisses your skin.
The golden sand stretches for miles, perfect for a lazy stroll or an intense run. The surf? Unmatched. Whether you're a pro or a newbie, Bondi’s waves are ready to ride. The vibe is unbeatable—laid-back yet electric, with a mix of locals and tourists soaking in the good life.

a short but epic adventure 🇦🇺🌊
I just got back from an awesome solo trip to New South Wales, Australia, and let me tell you, it was incredible!
Here's the summary of my adventure:
Day 1 I caught an early morning flight from Brisbane to Newcastle and that's when the real adventure began. I embarked on a 30-kilometer walk along the stunning Newcastle coast. Let me tell you, there were some seriously breathtaking views and I even had to do some rock scrambling on the cliffs for a good three hours. Ended the day at the Squid's Ink Motel in Belmont, which was a cozy spot to crash.
Day 2 This was the highlight of my trip, hands down. I woke up super pumped and ready for another day of epicness. I hit the beaches, explored some lush green cliffs, and got lost in the Munmorah State Conservation Park. I must've taken more than 60,000 steps, but man, it was worth every single one. Then I hopped on a bus to The Entrance and called it a night at the Ocean Front Motel.
Day 3 Started off the day with the most breathtaking sunrise on The Entrance beach. It was like something out of a dream. Then I headed to Sydney and went full-on tourist mode. Checked out the iconic Opera House, took a leisurely stroll through the Botanical Gardens, and enjoyed the coastal vibes. But let me tell you, Bondi Beach was the real deal. Surfers catching waves, sun shining down—pure bliss. Sadly, all good things must come to an end. I caught a flight back to Brisbane from Bondi Beach around 7:30 pm.
And that sums up my epic solo adventure in New South Wales, Australia. It was an unforgettable experience packed with thrills and memories that will last a lifetime!

The famous Bondi Icebergs
Bondi Baths have been a historical landmark of Bondi Beach for over 100 years and are open to the public all year round. It features both a larger lap pool and smaller kid’s pool with qualified lifeguards on patrol during opening hours all year round.
The main entrance to the licensed Clubhouse is on street-level along Notts Avenue. The Clubhouse features a Bistro style dining with unbeatable oceanfront views across the famous Bondi Beach.
The Sauna is located on the pool deck level, and is included in the price of your pool admission, along with hot showers. To be considerate of others, maximum 15 minutes is allowed in the sauna and you must take a towel into the sauna with you. Public Entry is available to the Pool 7 days a week (subject to tides & swimming races).
We didn’t come prepared for the baths so next time we’re in Sydney, we’ll be sure to bring our bathers as the pool with that amazing views of Bondi beach and coastline looks spectacular!

Bondi-One of the best beach in Sydney
#bondi #beach in #sydney really needs no introduction if you love Australian beaches.
It’s amazing shoreline with bright blue skies, white, soft and powdery sand is a huge attraction. It’s a great spot to #surf swim and suntan.
Dotted along the scenic shoreline, you can also hang out at one of the cafes or restaurants or have an ice cream and still take in the shoreline for amazing sea views as well. It is a place so beautiful you can really hang out all day there and not get tired of the view. It is so popular, you can see the crowds it draws.
It is easy to get there via a train or bus ride and a short walk. As it obviously gets really sunny, do not forget to bring sunblock. Do check Bondi out if you are there for a #holiday

Lovely lattes
I tried their sprouted gluten free bread which was tasty but slightly over toasted for my liking. It was crunchy (yum) on the outside but rather black on the bottom. I had it with butter but I think it would have been great with avocado on it. Two pieces was very filling and gave my jaw a good workout! I was told it is made of buckwheat, sweet potato, quinoa, herbs and coconut oil.
They do dinner as well Wed-Sun and will be back to try their dishes. All the other dishes i tried over the course of a year's breakfast visit were all good. The staff, food and especially the coffee is exquisite. May and Louise are always up for a friendly chat which makes everyone feel so welcome.

Sydney is the place to be.
Sydney, a beautiful city that blends modern architecture with natural scenery. When I set foot on this land in the southern hemisphere, my first stop was the world-famous Sydney Opera House.
🌇 Sydney Opera House
As I approached the Sydney Opera House, it looked like a blooming shell from a distance, and like a giant ship with sails. The design inspiration for it actually came from the peel of an orange. The architect ingeniously integrated natural elements into modern architecture. The white curved roof shone in the sun, reflecting the tranquility of the blue sky and the harbor. I admired the opera house from different angles, feeling the grandeur and delicacy of this building.
🏖️ Sydney's Beaches
In Sydney, the beach is also one of the attractions not to be missed. I chose to go to Bondi Beach. The delicate golden sand, clear sea water, and soothing waves were refreshing. The locals leisurely sunbathe and surf on the beach, experiencing the relaxed and comfortable lifestyle of Sydney. I strolled by the sea, feeling the comfort of the sea breeze on my face, which was completely relaxing.
From the bustling opera house to the leisurely beach, this city shows the perfect fusion of modernity and nature. Whether it is the beauty of architecture or natural scenery, Sydney is fascinating.

Sydney's Bondi Beach: Stunning Views and the Joy of Coastal Running!
Bondi Beach might be the most famous beach in Australia. The name 'Bondi' comes from an Aboriginal word meaning 'water breaking over rocks.' As the name suggests, besides the stunning views, it's also a paradise for countless surfing enthusiasts. I really love the vastness here. Whether it's the endless sky unobstructed by skyscrapers or the ever-deepening blue sea, I can't imagine how blissful it would be to run along the coast here every day!

Be mesmerized at Bondi Beach 🏖️ Sydney, Australia
I think any beach gives us the feeling of calmness. We feel relaxed, happy and healed just watching the movement of the waves 🌊, the sunrise 🌅 or the sunset 🌅, the stress free feeling from walking barefoot 🦶 in the sand, and the healing sound of the waves . I was so happy, being able to hear the waves and to see the sunrise at Bondi beach.
There are many activities you can do here such as jogging, 🏃🏽♀️ surfing 🏄♀️ or simply sitting and relaxing.

Bondi Beach Iceberg Club
#australiatrip We took a bus to Bondi Beach Iceberg Club and began our walk to Coogee at 8am. It was a sunny day and sun was already hot. Wear lots of sunscreen and a hat. The view was spectacular just as others have said. This is a moderate hike so if the walker is in a decent fitness level, it should be fine. There are many steps up and down throughout the trail. Bring water bottles and there will be water stations to refill as well as lots of benches to sit, rest and enjoy the view. Highly recommend it.
Check out my review of Coogee Bay! Wow wow wow

📍Bondi Beach, New South Wales, Sydney
Visited iconic Bondi Beach in New South Wales Sydney and it was a vibe! What a gem in the big city of Sydney. We took the bus from the city centre to Bondi Beach, it was around 7 kilometres and pretty accessible and convenient. Being a favourite of both locals and tourists, Bondi Beach is stunning, with beautiful shades of blues of the sea, the pool, and golden hue of a long stretch of sand! It is indeed a haven for swimmers, surfers, and beach lovers! There are also hotels and cafes in this area, perfect place to hang out and chill, wind down, spend time with loved ones. It was winter during our visit, thus we did not brave ourselves for a swim. The sand was smooth and soft, love walking on the sand. Would love to revisit!
I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!
