Hidden Corners in Halle (Saale)
#holidayitinerary Halle (Saale) is one of those low-key cities that kind of surprises you. It’s not super flashy, but once you start walking around, it grows on you fast. The old town has really pretty buildings, cute little alleys, and a calm vibe that makes it easy to explore. The big square with the Marktkirche and the Red Tower is super cool, especially with the Händel statue right in the middle. If you're into history or music, there's some fun stuff to dig into.
The river area is also great for a stroll or just chilling on a bench with snacks. It feels like a university town too, so there's a young energy around, but it’s not crowded or touristy. I liked that it felt real and lived in. It’s a nice break from the usual big-city buzz, and definitely worth checking out if you’re nearby.
