Rare on the market! High-end land, water, and air safari, an in-depth Okavango Delta group tour
When it comes to safaris, most people only know about Kenya and Tanzania, but for those seeking the ultimate experience, Botswana is their top choice.
Today, Xingzhiyue breaks this information gap! Using the recently concluded trip, we reveal why Botswana is truly the pinnacle of safaris.
✅ Botswana is home to the world's largest inland delta, the Okavango Delta. Here, besides traditional safari drives, you can enjoy many water-based safari activities such as canoeing, speedboat rides, and even helicopter safaris for a bird’s-eye view, combining land, water, and air perspectives.
✅ Thanks to its unique geographical conditions, Botswana boasts a far richer variety of wildlife than East Africa. During the rainy season, lush water plants attract numerous beautiful water birds, delighting birdwatching enthusiasts.
✅ Predators like lions and leopards prefer land activities, so camps located in permanent wildlife areas arrange walking safaris, making it possible to take photos alongside wild animals. Safari vehicles can also get very close to the animals.
✅ The Okavango Delta has only 1-2 camps per reserve, so daily safari activities are basically “private bookings.” This exclusivity guarantees a luxurious safari experience that other destinations cannot replicate.
✅ Additionally, Chobe National Park hosts the world’s densest elephant population, about 100,000 strong, which is truly spectacular.
To share this hidden gem with everyone, Xingzhiyue has designed an original in-depth small group tour of the Okavango Delta.
During the recently completed 12-day journey👇
🌟 Visited Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, one of the world’s three largest transnational waterfalls, located on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. We chose the Zimbabwe side for better views and closer proximity.
🌟 Took a boat cruise in Chobe National Park, enjoying delicious food while watching hippos, antelopes, buffaloes, baboons, elephants, crocodiles, and other abundant wildlife along the riverbank; during the off-road safari, we were lucky to witness a black-backed jackal hunting.
🌟 Stayed 8 consecutive nights in the Okavango Delta, exploring both permanent water camps and mixed camps, perfectly experiencing all types of safaris Botswana offers.
🌟 Canoed through beautiful papyrus and water lilies in the permanent water areas, leisurely encountering hippos, impalas, elephants, and calves.
🌟 Were fortunate to see lions and leopards climbing trees multiple times, encountered rare cheetahs, and a leopard that “guided” us to watch the sunset.
🌟 Witnessed iconic hunting scenes: four lion brothers hunting a warthog, a pack of African wild dogs hunting two antelopes, and spotted hyenas scavenging the catch.
… Countless surprising moments.
