l took a bus tour to the mountain town of Bran in Transylvania to visit the source of Bram Stokers Dracula stories. It was wet, cold and foggy which actually added to the sinister feel of the place. I didn't visit the inside due to time constrictions and the size of the queue. The streets surrounding the castle itself have a couple of coffee stops and quirky shops. Not the biggest array for the ardent shopper but then again 99 % are here for the Dracula castle. l came, l saw...l didn't get bitten.
