The cathedral dominates the view of the city. The gothic structure has some very old ‘original’ gothic features in the choir. The interior is well preserved and you can feel that it is an active church as well. It is surrounded with terraces and some give a nice view of the surroundings. You can visit the tower as well. The biggest reason I went to Europe in the winter was the Christmas market🎄 I only looked for big markets, but there are almost all towns!! Even if it's a small one in the square in a small town! Then visit Spielberg Castle and walk the green hills around it and walk 5 minites to Mendel Museum of Masaryk University. Spend the evening exploring the old town area, filled with restaurants and shops. Day2: head to ossuary at the Church of St James- a very peculiar but definitely worth visiting. For brunch try Na Knofliku just around the corner. After the meal visit Bunker 10-Z, yup an actual bunker! For the evening I’d try the castle again with the evening view of the city and then Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul Katedrála svatých Petra a Pavla. For dinner head to Restaurace L'Eau Vive for a mix of French’s and Czech cuisine. Day3: for breakfast/brunch visit Café In The Ghetto, it’s a bit outside of the old town but the area itself is worth visiting.
