2024 Bruny Island Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in December)
Today's Weather
Partly clear 14-21℃
Bruny Island
Bruny Island feels like a condensed taste of Tasmania at large, with some stunning lookouts, nice stretches of beach, several short hikes, rainforests, a bunch of different locally produced food on offer, and a mix of native and farm animals dotted around. The one local albino wallaby I spotted was a bit camera shy, taking off before I could snap a shot. I also had to brave intermittent wind, rain, and even hail on the day I visited, which made it more difficult to fully enjoy some of the experiences. Probably worth gauging the weather before making plans to visit, and definitely recommended to visit in summer if possible.
