Buenos Aires
🎨 La Boca District
The birthplace of tango! The colorful tin houses on Caminito Street are very famous, and street performers often dance tango, creating an amazing atmosphere. It’s recommended to visit during the day for safety and great photo opportunities. Also, check out the Candy Box Stadium, home to Boca Juniors, with its blue and yellow candy box-like exterior, very distinctive.
🎨 Plaza de Mayo + Casa Rosada
The heart of Argentina, Plaza de Mayo’s center features the Pirámide de Mayo monument, and to the east is the pink presidential palace, Casa Rosada, very beautiful and photogenic. On weekends, there’s a market selling handicrafts and snacks, very lively.
🎨 El Ateneo Grand Splendid Bookstore
The most beautiful bookstore in the world! Converted from a century-old theater, the dome murals are stunning, and the stage has been turned into a café. Reading and drinking coffee here is truly enjoyable. Free admission, a must-visit.
🎨 Recoleta Cemetery
Known as an open-air architectural museum! It’s the resting place of famous figures like Eva Perón. Each tomb is an exquisite sculptural building, like an art palace. A great place to learn about Argentina’s history. Admission is about 35 RMB.
