If you’re planning a CDO–Bukidnon trip, consider setting aside a full day for Dahilayan. Our day was a nice mix of quick photo stops, fun activities, good food, and cool mountain scenery. 🌲 We started with a pick-up from CDO and made our way towards Bukidnon, stopping at some of the familiar sights along the route: 🍍 Giant Pineapple – A quick but must-have photo stop. You really can't pass through the area without getting that iconic pineapple shot! 🌿 Camp Phillips – Another quick stop for photos before continuing towards Dahilayan. 🍍 Pineapple Plantations – One of the nice things about the drive is seeing the vast pineapple plantations along the way. 🎢 Dahilayan Adventure Park – There are plenty of rides and activities to choose from, so it really depends on how adventurous you are and what kind of experience you're looking for! For us, it was raining during our visit, so some of the rides, including the Dropzone, weren't available. 🌧️ So if you're planning to visit, it's a good idea to check the weather and ride availability beforehand and choose which rides you really want to try. 🏔️ Alpine Village – One of the most IG-worthy stops of the day! The European-inspired buildings, flowers, and cool mountain setting make the whole village feel like a little escape somewhere in the Alps. We also had lunch at Café Salzburg before continuing to Forest Park. Definitely give yourself some time here for photos! 📸✨ 🌲 Dahilayan Forest Park – We spent the afternoon here enjoying the pine trees, trying some of the fun activities, and taking more photos. The Rainbow Slide is definitely a must-try! 🌈🛝 It was such a fun way to end our afternoon at the park. 🏡 Saddle Ridge Camp – We checked in here after our Dahilayan adventure and spent the evening bonding with the group before getting some much-needed rest. Camp Phillips, Manolo Fortich, Province of Bukidnon, Northern Mindanao, Philippines Camp Phillips was set up right after Del Monte started its operations in Manolo Fortich town in Bukidnon in 1926. At a nearby airfield in Barangay Dicklum was where Gen. Douglas MacArthur, his family and staff made their dramatic escape on board a B17 “flying fortress” plane to Australia on March 17, 1942.

Great old architecture for this Provincial Capitol. This building is composed of different public offices such as the Provincial Engineering Office and The office of the Provincial Governor. I really like the architecture and the landscape of the place. It is well maintained and it preserves the history of the early spaniard era. The follow of traffic is highly organised and a lot of parking area available. With a minimum ₱100 Consumable Fee is indeed sulit from a very long drive from Davao to Bukidnon. It’s been my nth time visiting this beautiful place to hang out with best friends and family, and just this vey day I was able to meet the owner from lovely Malaybalay City. She’s just young as I am. Truly, this is a perfect place to go to when you are either in Valencia City or Malaybalay City. They offer pizza, pasta, rice bowls and perfectly brewed coffee!

It was early in the morning when we decided to visit Valencia, Bukidnon. On our way there, we had a stop over at Bukidnon Overview Deck! Having the chance to see the greatness of God and His beautiful wonders, it was amazing! No fees at all. The Greek Hills is a welcoming retreat recreating the beauty of historic Greek sights and ruins. Situated in Brgy. Sinuda in the vibran. The road is not safe for single motorcycles, lalo na mahina ang makina or preno at may angkas. Non stop na akyatan for 3km... Putol-putol ung daan and mejo mahaba ung rough road with bangin sa gilid. It has a distinct pyramid-shaped church sitting in a hill overlooking the greenery. Staying at the monastery is also popular among visitors on retreat. Bukidnon is one of the trip I will never forget. We decided to have our late lunch at the Del Monte Clubhouse. It was a few minutes ride from the Forest Park so we settled in to enjoy the view. My first impression of the clubhouse was that it was a bit old fashioned. The area was spacious with its checkered tables. The large windows afforded guests with the view of the golf course outside. We ordered burgers and salads from the menu.
