Where to see cherry blossoms in South Korea 🌸
If you're traveling to Korea in the spring, be sure to catch the cherry blossom season. The most beautiful places aren't just in Seoul, but in other cities too, where everything looks simply unreal in spring. Save these locations 👇
📍 Yeouido, Seoul
Address: Yeouiseo-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul
One of the most popular spots in Seoul. In the spring, there are entire avenues of trees, lots of beautiful photos, and a truly spring-like atmosphere. If you want to see cherry blossoms right in the city, this is one of the best places.
📍 Namsan Park, Seoul
Address: 231 Samil-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul
Another very beautiful spot in Seoul. You can combine a stroll through the park, city views, and blossoming trees. This place is especially great if you want to take a full-fledged walk and soak up the atmosphere, not just looking at the cherry blossoms.
📍 Yeojwacheon Stream, Jinhae
Address: 16 Yeojwacheon-ro, Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do
This is a true classic of spring in Korea. It's absolutely beautiful: water, bridges, and trees on both sides. In spring, this place looks like something out of a drama, and many people come here for the most spectacular photos.
📍 Gyeonghwa Station Cherry Blossom Street, Jinhae
Address: 649 Jinhae-daero, Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do
One of the most famous locations in the country during cherry blossom season. Trees line the train tracks, making it all look unique and beautiful. If you want to see one of the most recognizable spring spots in Korea, this is the place to be.
📍 Bomun Tourist Complex, Gyeongju
Address: 446 Bomun-ro, Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do
A very beautiful place for those looking to combine a spring trip with a more tranquil and picturesque atmosphere. Here you'll find cherry blossoms, a lake, walking areas, and a completely different feel to Korea—more relaxed and very beautiful.
📍 Gyerim-ro, Gyeongju
Address: 10 Gyerim-ro, Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do
In spring, this location becomes one of the most beautiful in Gyeongju. It's especially pleasant to simply stroll here, take your time, and soak up the spring spirit. Suitable for those who prefer more atmospheric and quieter places.
If I had to choose only three places, I'd recommend Yeouido in Seoul, Yeojwacheon Stream in Jinhae, and the Bomun area in Gyeongju. They're all very different, each with its own atmosphere—an urban spring vibe, a postcard from a drama, and a more relaxed, very beautiful Korea 🌸
