📍Alberta's — 4.8 stars on google ⭐️ This was truly an experience, alberta's a resturant owned by one of the ex chef of Noma — The 3 michelin star resturant in Copenhagen. This was my first time visiting a restaurant where we were served based on the menu for the day & we didnt need to browse or choose what we like. Here was what we had 😚💛 The menu: 01 Albany rock oyster — yummy if you're a fan of oysters! 02 Shark bay prawn — This was good too! But honestly it was nothing special it tasted like sambal prawn. 03 Steak tartare — It was fresh and paired really well with the leaf (which was abit weird but 😃) 04 Fremantle octopus — 2nd fav! 🐙 you can never go wrong with grilled octopus. 05 Cherry & plum tart — I LOVE THIS SO MUCH, The flavours were just so well balanced. My favorite dish of all. 06 Cheese & grain — I love the cheese but the multigrain bread was not a fav. Overall it was such a unique experience, where we were seated we could look at the chef preparing our dishes. They were so chill — working at their own station. The head chef & owner himself would come up to our table to explain the dish which made it really personal & intimate! 😌 If you're planning to visit do remember to make a booking ahead as they only have a limited slots per day as all their ingredients are fresh. We went to Busselton as a pit stop on the way back to Perth City from Margaret River. The jetty is 1.845km long where you can choose to walk or take the train which will bring you to the end of the jetty. There is a little aquarium at the end. As we did that the previous trip, we decided to just have a meal there and have some fun at the playground for the kids. There are restaurant along the area, most notably is Shelter Brewery where we had lunch. The area around the jetty is very kids friendly with numerous playgrounds which caters to preschoolers all the way to older kids. It was a fantastic afternoon spent there and definitely a great trip to start off the new year! #newyearadventure

Spent the month of May in Australia, starting in Brisbane CBD for four days, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of an amazing city. Flew to Perth for three days in the CBD, then drove to Busselton for a night before heading to Cape Naturaliste en route to Margaret River for a three-night stay. Margaret River offered scenic views, delicious food, and perfect oceanfront accommodation near Surfer's Beach, just a short walk to nearby beaches. Took a day trip to Mammoth Caves and Cape Leeuwin, stopping along the way for scenic views and hikes. From Margaret River, drove towards Denmark and visited the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk. Then continued to Albany's Middleton Beach for daily swims in the bay, walks to Albany's CBD, and a hike at Bluff Knoll. Next, headed west and enjoyed a few days in both Bunbury and Fremantle, returning to Perth to see Split Enz and the following day join the Pinnacles guided bus tour. The tour included a rock lobster lunch in Cervantes and a Swan River Valley visit, led by an excellent guide, Chris. The Dale Tilbrook Aboriginal experience the next day was highly educational. Flew back to Brisbane for around four days on the Sunshine Coast, exploring the canals via boat tour, visiting the Australian Zoo, hiking Mount Ngungun, and spending an afternoon in Montville. Returned to Brisbane for one more night before flying home. It was a wonderful trip packed with adventures and unforgettable moments.
