We were at Byron bay for 4 days and we still got a lot done, it’s a small quiet little town that has loads of independent restaurants/ cafes and shops which is always nice to explore. whilst there it’s a must that you go to the most easterly point of Australia, a lovely location that overlooks the sea and beyond, additionally when you reach the top of the hill there is a lighthouse which is nice to stop and get some pictures by! We also went Kayaking through a tour we booked which was great as you got to go into the water and see Byron bay from a different angle, overall a lovely town with friendly locals and perfect for a seaside stay.

Charming Byron Bay
Byron Bay in #australia is known for it’s beautiful #beaches , good surf spots and it’s laid back charm. It is in the state of New South Wales and a couple of hours drive from #sydney
This quaint little town is a great place to chill out with its many cafes and restaurants along the Main Street, and it’s beaches with great views of the turquoise blue sea.
This beach town will definitely slow things down for you as you wander around it’s numerous sidewalks to explore what they have to offer. There are essential stores and plenty of shopping consisting of mostly casual ware. no huge skyscrapers or big departmental stores in town. you can also find interesting graffiti lined walls in its little alleys.
it’s best to do a drive when you go there as it’s a charming small town and you can drive around to explore the forest all over and do a small hike as well.

Byron Bay
Getting There - To beat covid and all the travel restrictions and border closures, we escaped to Byron Bay, a short drive a cross the border from Queensland into New South Wales, or you can fly into Ballina Airport which is only a 30 minute drive to Byron.
Attractions - Byron Bay Cookie Company and the lighthouse a must. A great walk up to the lighthouse with a cafe at the top.
Hotels - Amazing Balinese style hotels, very busy and quite expensive at the moment due to everyone going on holiday within Australia.
Food & Restaurants - Great choice of places to eat, all cuisines but again busy so book in advance!
Shopping - there are a few shops here, surf shops mainly but we didn’t come here for the shopping. just to relax and chill, great coffee, food and wine.

Skydiving is one of the most extreme sports you can indulge in when in Australia. Not everyone has the courage to jump from 15,000 feet! They say that after you have done it once, it becomes addictive. After all, the experience of soaring through the sky is exciting and precious. Skydiving activities can either be booked online or at the hotel. It is very convenient. It is also recommended to go as soon as you can since the waiting time is long. When everything is ready, you will have to board the small plane. Only five or six people are allowed to jump together. It is no wonder the wait time is long. After the jump, a certificate will be issued to commemorate your skydiving experience.

Byran Bay is so therapeutic and comfortable❤️🥰
#weekendgetaways
Weekend I went camping in Byron Bay for two days and one night, attacking the Byran Bay camping where my mentor planted grass. I finally left last weekend! After two days and one night, it's not an ordinary leisurely and comfortable experience. The seaside town and camping weekend experience are full, and you can also go to nature and be fully charged. I recommend Broken Head Holiday Park! The campsite needs to make a phone call to confirm in advance. It is located ten meters away from the beach and truly allows for sleeping on the waves. The mountain shower room, hot water, and shared kitchen are all available. It can be said that the facilities in the campsite I have seen are as good as one for two. Many people rent cars to camp and surf here for many days, creating a feeling of small community and neighborhood. They greet each other as they pass by, creating a great atmosphere. There is also an auntie's coffee car in the campsite, which has a delicious taste
Cooking lunch out of the van at BYRON BAY
During my recent trip, I had the
incredible opportunity to witness the majestic sight of whales in their natural habitat. As our boat glided through the serene waters, I spotted the enormous creatures breaching and splashing, their powerful tails slicing through the ocean waves. The experience was nothing short of awe-inspiring, leaving me with a profound appreciation for these gentle giants and the beauty of the marine world. It was a moment of pure wonder that I will cherish forever.

Paradise Found: Byron Bay's Breathtaking Beauty
#australiatrip
My visit to Byron Bay was a true escape to paradise! The Byron Bay Lighthouse Walk, a 4.5-kilometer trail, was the highlight of my trip. The stunning coastal scenery left me awestruck, with breathtaking views of the ocean, cliffs, and beaches. The walk was moderately challenging, but the scenery made every step worthwhile. I spotted dolphins and whales (in season), and the lighthouse itself was a picturesque gem. The town of Byron Bay was equally charming, with its laid-back vibe, boutique shops, and delicious food scene. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with plenty of natural beauty, Byron Bay is a must-visit destination. Don't miss the lighthouse walk – it's an experience you won't soon forget!
The Palm Valley
#australiatrip Stunning scenery and some beautiful walks. Great camping area and good facilities. The drive to the valley is definitely high clearance 4WD over rock shelves but worth it. Sunrise and sunsets from some of the walk lookouts are spectacular. Stunning place to hike around. So many more palms then I originally thought. You would definitely need a 4wd with a decent clearance for the one way track through to the valley.

Byron Bay | Witness a sunrise at the easternmost point of Australia
Witness a sunrise at the easternmost point of Australia.
It must be said that the scenery of Byron Bay is truly breathtaking.
Here lies Australia's easternmost lighthouse.
The pure white lighthouse stands tall on the easternmost peak of Australia, set against the blue sky and the sea, it looks exceptionally pristine.
This place is less than 100 kilometers south of Queensland's Gold Coast.
The town has beaches and nature reserves, where you can sunbathe on the beach, hike in the tropical rainforest, or gaze at the sea from the cliff coast and watch a sunrise.
On the morning of the drive back from Brisbane to Sydney, I specifically planned this stop to watch the sunrise. Unfortunately, the sky was not clear, and in the cloudy Byron Bay, only a trace of the sun's rays was seen. However, the beauty of this town cannot be obscured by the cloudy weather, and the quiet town also has many coffee shops, with residents coming in one after another early in the morning.
At Cape Byron, the easternmost point of the Australian mainland, there is a sea-facing viewing platform, which was once a popular spot for social media check-ins. Inside the beautiful lighthouse is an exhibition hall, and if you have time, you can visit it to learn about the ecological science of Byron Bay.
If there is a next time, I will definitely come back to Byron Bay to experience the quiet town life again.

Go to Byron Bay Lighthouse
Byron bay light house has a spectacular view overlooking the ocean.
Cape Byron Light, also called Cape Byron Lightstation, is an active heritage-listed lighthouse and now interpretative centre, interpretative space, maritime museum, administration office, retail building, accommodation, tourist attraction and visitor attraction located at Lighthouse Road, Byron Bay, Cape Byron, Byron Shire, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Charles Harding and Cecil W. Darley and built from 1899 to 1901 by Messrs Mitchell & King. It is also known as Cape Byron Lightstation (including moveable items), Byron Bay Lighthouse, Cape Byron Headlan and Cape Byron Headland Reserve. The property is owned by NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service.
Beautiful Cape Byron Lighthouse 🇦🇺
#timetotravel
The Cape Byron Lighthouse, perched atop the easternmost point of mainland Australia, is a captivating destination that offers a breathtaking perspective of the continent's rugged coastline. My visit to this iconic lighthouse was a journey to the edge of the world.
Reaching the lighthouse required a picturesque coastal hike through the lush Cape Byron Reserve. The panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean meeting the dramatic cliffs were simply awe-inspiring. The vibrant marine life and the occasional glimpse of migrating whales added to the allure.
Standing next to the historic lighthouse, I was struck by its timeless beauty and the sense of history it embodies. The opportunity to climb to the top and gaze across the endless horizon was a fitting reward.
The Cape Byron Lighthouse is not just a must-visit for its natural beauty, but also for the sense of wonder and connection it imparts. It's a place where the land meets the sea, and you're left in awe of the vastness of our world. #australia #lighthouse #trip #instatravel

Byron Bay
If you're looking to enjoy long stretches of sandy beach all to yourself or to surf waves that you don't have to line up for, these days there are lots of choices on the Eastern Australian coast that might better suit than Byron Bay. But even though it has become way more popular and, dare I say it, kind of mainstream compared to its origins, it has managed to maintain some chill vibes and does have decent beaches going for it. Not to mention there are a few nice hikes/walks in the area. Still worth a visit.
