#AprilGoodDestinations2025 The 127-year-old lighthouse is located 242 meters above sea level on a small island in the northeast corner of Luzon Island in the Philippines. Due to its important location, the lighthouse still lights up to guide passing ships on a bright path in the dark sea. However, with the evolution of the times, the lighthouse's lights have been changed to solar power, which is quite environmentally friendly. Don’t think that the altitude is only 242 meters. Walking on the mountain road under the scorching sun is quite tiring and very hot. The tour guide in the local village said that the journey takes about 20 minutes, but if you love taking pictures like us, as the altitude increases along the way, the beautiful scenery of the entire bay becomes more charming, making people unable to help but take pictures all the time.

I can not help but capture this beautiful sunset in the island of camiguin located in the northern part of Cagayan. To be able to get there you need to ride in a tiny boat for 3-4 hrs. Thank God for the safe boat travel I was able to step on this island. It was worth travelling. It’s the most beautiful sunset experience ever!! Hopefully I can comeback here soon and visit the other side of the island.

Best and unique adventure sa Cagayan!!!! If di ka pa nkakapunta, it's super worth it! Baggao Bluewater Falls and Cave! Baggao, Cagayan Seniors, kids, teenagers or normal adult ka man, kayang kaya mo ang adventure na to!!! Thanks to our very good and knowledgeable tour guides!!! Loved this adventure, river trekking is the best way!!! We thought my mother that is over 50 and my nephews that are 7 yrs old wouldn't be able to do this challenge but we all enjoyed it a lot!!! Tips: 1. Go as early as 8am to 11am (hindi masyadong mainit) 2. Eat before you do the river trekking so you don't have to bring food on the way to the falls. (If you need to bring, Kanya kanyang bit bit ng baon) 3. Bring waterproof bags 4. Good water shoes are advisable 5. Bring waterproof cover for your phones. 6. This is one of the place in the Philippines which hardly reached by tourists as it is situated at the top most island of Luzon. Going there may take almost 2 days from Manila. Bus from Manila to Cagayan will take more or less 12hrs. From pier, you have to take boat which will have 6hrs trip going to this beautiful Island! People are amazing and friendly!
