My most anticipated Banff trip in the US and Canada⛰️🇨🇦 Every photo looks incredibly beautiful, like a postcard 🥺 A perfect end to a 4-day, 3-night trip 💙 Day 1: Flew from Vancouver to Calgary in the morning, about an hour and a half. I took Flair Airlines, but definitely do not take this airline... The takeoff was very unstable, and it was shaky on the plane too. It was the first time in my life I cried on a plane, it was really terrifying...😭 After arriving, I booked a ride at the counter for CAD$58 to Banff town. Actually, there was a cheaper option called On It for only CAD$13, but it only runs three times a day 🚌 After arriving in town, I just wandered around casually~ Day 2: Joined a one-day tour 🚌 booked on GetYourGuide for $58 USD. We visited five or six spots, including Emerald Lake, Lake Louise, and Moraine Lake! It was truly stunning...✨ Although I joined alone, I happened to meet a Taiwanese lady on the same bus, and we helped each other take photos 📷 Day 3: I originally planned to go to the Columbia Icefield, but later decided to spend the day with a Taiwanese guy and his friends I met on the bus from Seattle to Vancouver. Since they rented a car 🚗, they could drive me around. We hiked ⛰️ and took a cable car 🚡. The cable car was an open basket, which was quite scary, but it moved very slowly. The mountain views were really, really beautiful! Day 4: My flight was at 4 PM. I spent the morning wandering around town, buying postcards and magnets. I ended up mixing up the bus time to the airport, and the bus left without me... I was shaking so badly at that moment. Luckily, I saw a van at the bus stop that looked like the one that came from the airport on the first day. I asked and found out it was heading to the airport now! I immediately paid and got on 🚌 I was such a lucky girl😭😭 Otherwise, I would have missed my flight back to Vancouver, and buying a new ticket would have been super expensive...💸 This solo trip, I stayed in Banff town at a hostel with decent reviews and reasonable prices. Overall, it was quite comfortable 👍🏻 The downside was that there was only one bathroom per room, but it was very large! Breakfast was great because I could make my own pancakes 🥞

We finally made it to the Calgary Stampede — and it’s as epic as everyone says! 🎟️ Entrance is $25 per adult, and once you're in, you can buy tickets for the rides starting from around $10 (or get a Ride All Day pass if you're brave enough 😅). Of course, we had to try the food: I went for a poutine with triple pickles 🥒🍟 (yep, triple!) and my husband grabbed a classic hot dog 🌭 — both totally hit the spot. Then came the rides — wild, fast, and slightly terrifying (but so fun) 🎢🎠 We ended the day with the evening show, and honestly… it’s spectacular. Live music, insane stunts, light shows, and a fireworks finale that gave us chills ✨🎆 If you’re in Calgary in July, this is the place to be. There’s plenty of small spots on the highway to park your car and enjoy the lookout for a while. If you plan to drive to Jasper, have a full tank because there’s no gas stations on the way.

After visiting the art gallery, you can grab some snacks or goodies here! 📍Fair’s Fair Books If you love thrift shopping like me, this is a must-visit! It mainly sells second-hand books, but you can find all kinds of genres. The store thoughtfully provides chairs so you can take your time browsing. You can even bring your own books to sell! Chinatown Day Trip 📍Thi Thi Vietnamese Submarine Affordable and delicious Vietnamese sandwiches with generous portions that will definitely fill you up! There’s no indoor seating, but on nice days, you can buy one and enjoy it at a nearby park or by the river. If you haven’t tried Pineapple Fanta, you can get it here—it’s addictive after just one sip! 📍Good Thrift My favorite thrift clothing store! The owner has great taste, and you can sometimes find hidden gems. Plus, the prices are truly thrift-store prices! Part of the store’s earnings is reportedly donated to the community. I would like to introduce Fairfield Inn & Suites Calgary Downtown, where I stayed for one day in Calgary, Canada. After a long flight, I arrived in Calgary and found a hotel where I could rest well. It is located in downtown Calgary, so I can easily walk anywhere. The room was cozy and the bed was soft, so I was able to sleep well. In particular, breakfast was provided for free, and there were various menu options, which was nice. It was even better because I could eat while looking at the great view outside the large windows of the breakfast restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the location was good, so it was a really good place to rest well for one day in Calgary.

I ordered Deveille Coffee's signature menus, Nutella Coffee and Mocha Coffee. It was warm and sweet, so it was delicious, but it was too sweet, so if you don't like sweet things, try another menu. The interior was cozy, and the barista was very friendly. If you're traveling to Calgary, be sure to visit Deveille Coffee.

Walking in Calgary, you can see a towering building everywhere, making it hard not to notice it. It is the Calgary Tower. This tower, built in 1968, is located in the city center (downtown) next to the VIA station, situated on Palliser Square at the intersection of 9 Ave SE and Centre St. The first floor of the Calgary Tower is the ticket office and gift shop. After purchasing a ticket, you can take the high-speed elevator to the top of the tower in 62 seconds. The spherical top of the tower is divided into three levels, with a bar on the top floor, and the observation deck and revolving restaurant on the two lower levels. The observation deck offers a panoramic view of the entire city of Calgary, with a wide-open view in all directions. One side is made of transparent glass and extends outward, allowing you to look down and see the bustling streets and vehicles below.
