5 THINGS YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT SPAIN ๐ช๐ธ ๐๏ธ
There are more than 8.000km of coastline in Spain so itโs an awesome travel destination โ๏ธ ๐๏ธ Thereโs so much to see & do so here are some travel tips for your next trip:
๐บ๏ธ Our โค๏ธ places to visit:
1.Calpe (Stay at Muralla Roja; visit Club social de la Manzanera; Photo spot is Mirador Morro de Toix) โฐ๏ธ
2.Tossa de Mar (Other cute beach towns nearby are Sa Tuna & Cadaques) ๐
3.Sevilla ๐
4.Canary Islands & other islands like Mallorca & Ibiza ๐๏ธ
5.Barcelona (Our favorite places are: Bunkers del Carmel, Park Gรผell, Sagrada Familla, Arc de Triomf, Parc de la Ciutadella, Cathedrale, Mercar de la Boqueria, Palau de la Musica) โ๏ธ
6.Calella de Palafrugell ๐๏ธ
7.&8. Pueblos Blancos (the white towns: Mojacar, Montefrio, Iznรกjar, Cordoba, Ronda, Setenil de las Bodegas, Olvera, Zahara de la Sierra, Casares) ๐ค
9.Andorra (this is another country but if you are in Spain make sure to stop by because itโs super beautiful and cheap haha ๐) ๐๏ธ
10.One of the many beaches ๐๏ธ
Madrid should also be on the list but the last time we were there is sooooo long ago so I donโt remember much) ๐
๐ ๐ โด๏ธ How to get around
Many places are connected by train and the Spanish trains are really good! We usually took our own car because it gave us the freedom to explore more remote spots ๐ค
๐ฅ Food to try
Thereโs so much but here are my favorites: Paella, Patatas bravas, Gazpacho, Tapas, Tortilla, Churros, Olives
๐ถ Is Spain dog friendly?
To be honest: it depends. Compared to other European countries we had many problems in Spain whenever we wanted to do activities with Felix. Many hotels & restaurants donโt allow dogs and most of the beaches prohibit dogs all year round (in other countries dogs can go to the beach during the winter months) ๐
โ๏ธ When to go?
In summer it gets really hot and crowded so we recommend to go in Spring or autumn. All the photos were taken in February or October and we really enjoyed the nice weather (not too warm) without many people around. cr๏ผwanderlust_samoyed& Contact us for removal
The most Instagramable building in Spain ๐ช๐ธ
Truly surprised by some sort of โ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฃ๐ณ๐ถ๐ซ๐ฐโ in ๐๐ฎ ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ฎ ๐ฅ๐ผ๐ท๐ฎ ๐ด
Out of a sudden, I saw that there was one room available at ๐๐ฎ ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ฎ ๐ฅ๐ผ๐ท๐ฎ for one night.
This is something incredible, because, especially in summertime (peak season) this place is fully booked months in advance; so we were really lucky.
Inmediately, I didn't hesitate and pressed ๐๐ข๐ข๐! And there we go, we got a spot to stay and experience this magical place on our own.

Built in 1973 by Spanish architect ๐๐๐๐๐ง๐๐ค ๐ฝ๐ค๐๐๐ก๐ก, it has become a must-visit destination for social media influencers, photographers, architecture aficionados among others.
It has become so famous, that at one point, the neighbours decided to close it off to outsiders and also installed drone inhibitors, so right now it is a "no drone-flying zone".

I must admit that before going there I expected it to be an overrated, ๐ฐ overpriced destination that rose to fame thanks to Instagrammers wannabe ๐ธ
Now, I confirm that even though the latter is true, its fame is well deserved

In reality, the memorial valley monument finally succeeded in punching the Spanish red wall muralla roja! Reality is more beautiful than photos! From the evening, I arrived at the sun and went down the mountain. It took me more than an hour to leave. The whole house is spliced with blue orange powder and purple blocks. The high and low staggered design is used to distinguish different units. The top of the building can see the endless Mediterranean Sea, and the sea water is crystal clear. Different light will have different beauty. Traveling in Spain must be punched! highly recommended! !

I recently spent a fantastic summer vacation in Calpe, Spain, and it was a delightful experience! The highlight was definitely the Peรฑรณn de Ifach, the iconic rock formation that dominates the skyline. The entrance to the nature park is โฌ5, and the hike up offers incredible views of the Mediterranean and the surrounding coastline.
I also enjoyed the beautiful sandy beaches, like Playa de la Fossa, which is perfect for swimming and relaxing. For a taste of local culture, I wandered through the old town, with its charming narrow streets and the lovely Church of Nuestra Seรฑora de las Nieves, which is free to visit. Nearby, the salt flats are home to flamingos and make for a great afternoon stroll.
Calpe offers a perfect mix of natural beauty, relaxation, and local charmโdefinitely worth a visit! ๐๐๏ธ #trip #Calpe #SpanishCoast #BeachLife #NatureHike #MediterraneanMagic
An amazing natural park in Calpe
The Peรฑรณn de Ifach is a must-visit destination in Calpe. It is a famous natural landmark rising 332 meters above the Mediterranean Sea.
The entire hike takes around two hours. There are some slippery and rugged areas, so it is important to wear comfortable and suitable shoes. The panoramic views and landscapes are spectacular, making the effort worthwhile.
Before going there, donโt forget to make a reservation on their website. Without a reservation, you wonโt be able to hike, especially during peak season.
I absolutely recommend this destination!

Spain Realistic version of "Monument Valley"
give you a popular science:
this place in Spain, the official name is Muralla Roja (red wall), located in the small town of Calpe, Spain, belongs to Ali Kanter jurisdiction. The red wall is actually not an attraction. It is just a residential building, a bit like our community. You can't just enter the tour, and then you can lock the door, where there are local residents living.
If you want to take pictures, you can only stay in Muralla Roja. Some residents have made their house into a homestay. They can book on booking or Airbnb. They must be in advance, and they must stay at least 2 consecutive nights. A set of homestay can accommodate up to 4 people.
Because of the color of the house, the design has completely restored the game "Monument Valley", so it attracted a lot of tourists to punch cards, I am one of them, even if it is difficult to book.
However, it is difficult to enter and also arguing about the local residents who live here, and the opinions are very large.
Note:
must be quiet, otherwise it will not last long, it is definitely a total ban on outsiders.
Secondly, the use of drones is now banned, and I was almost complained about when I took off today.
Traffic Tips:
1. Cars: There is no train in the town of Calpe, so you can only go to Valencia or Alicante to do the ALSA bus, the guide on public transportation on the Internet. Very few, personal experience, ALSA bus takes the shortest time to the nearest two big cities, it takes about 4 hours. Also, be sure to pay attention to the timetable! There are many shifts from Monday to Friday, and there is only one shift on Sunday.
2. Self-driving: Pay attention to the exit of the roundabout. There are too many roundabouts in Spain.
