While we did manage to walk through Harvard University's campus, drive past MIT, snap photos at the Bates Hall of the Boston Public Library, follow a short segment of the Freedom Trail, enjoy lobster at Quincy Market 🦞, and visit the Boston Tea Party site, the itinerary felt superficial. Coupled with the four-hour one-way journey from New York to Boston, the exhausting travel made us question whether we were ready for such a hectic day before booking. An interesting side note: since the tour offered multiple language options, there were three guides on the bus, each responsible for explaining in 1-2 languages. Tatte Bakery is a popular cafe in Boston, and its Harvard Square location is packed with breakfast diners from the moment it opens! This two-story location has ample seating and a high turnover rate, so we were seated quickly upon entering! The interior is incredibly stylish, and every corner is photogenic! Ordering is similar to Starbucks: once you find a seat, you queue up to order. Drinks are collected at the delivery counter, while meals are delivered to your seat with numbered tags. The menus are displayed on a chalkboard, so you can easily decide what to order while waiting in line. The line leads past the dessert counter, which has a wide selection of pastries! It's easy to get distracted by the sheer number of tempting desserts! We ordered a selection of freshly made breakfast items, including sandwiches and overnight oats, and they were all delicious! On the other hand, the popular pistachio and sesame lattes were just average. Perhaps our expectations were too high, but the taste wasn't particularly impressive. Also, since we had a day trip to Harvard University that day, we also took some takeout pastries like croissants, muffins, and baked cookies. We left them for the entire trip and only ate them back at the hotel that evening. They were still quite delicious! Tatte Bakery & Cafe has many locations. Besides the one in Harvard Square, we also visited several in downtown Boston. Each one was always crowded, but the ordering process was incredibly smooth and quick, and the prices were reasonable for the area. The food options are also quite diverse, ranging from brunch, pastries, breads, and cakes to main courses and drinks! It's no wonder it's so popular and always packed!

Harvard University, where my cousin lives in Boston, was easy to visit!! The school was large and there were many things to see, but the best place to take middle and high school students was the Natural History Museum. I went to the incredibly intelligent Harvard University. The day I visited was a weekday, so there were a lot of students in class. However, I was able to easily get into the shops and buy lots of original goods. It wasn't a tour, so I was able to take my time and enjoy the sights, and it was great to see a university that is unique to the vast US.
