Good Location and Staff, but Areas for Improvement
The majority of the staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We encountered no issues with any staff member during our stay. The housekeeping team deserves special recognition for their hard work, and they always had smiles on their faces. Aurora at the snack bar provided excellent service during our visit and was especially kind and attentive to our little one, which enhanced our experience. Jose M at the bar also stood out for his consistent, friendly, and efficient service, even during busy times.
The entertainment team was the biggest disappointment. Outside the mini disco and evening shows, they were hardly visible during the day. Activities were poorly communicated, and guests often didn’t know what was happening. Aqua aerobics was offered only sporadically. The team also came across as impersonal, frequently passing guests without a greeting and often seeming grumpy or unapproachable. Their attitude towards some evening performers also seemed dismissive. Greater guest interaction and a friendly atmosphere around the pool would make a significant difference.
The mini club was another letdown. The soft play area, tables, and facilities were noticeably dirty, which is unacceptable for a children’s area. Cleanliness should be a priority in such spaces.
The rooms were clean, tidy, and comfortable. The maid service was excellent, with rooms cleaned and towels refreshed daily. The air conditioning worked well, which was much appreciated. However, the WiFi was unreliable and frequently cut out, which was frustrating. The lifts were also an inconvenience during busy times, with waits of up to ten minutes.
The food offered a decent variety, though some items could have been labeled better. The restaurant setup felt disorganized, particularly during busy periods when guests struggled to find tables. It seemed understaffed, leading to longer waits and a more stressful dining experience. Having staff seat guests would improve the flow. Drink service at dinner was slow, and self-service stations for beverages like wine, beer, and soft drinks would help. Not all cocktails were included in the all-inclusive package, which felt disappointing. Also, the lack of late-night snacks after 10 pm was a downside—adding a snack bar with simple options like burgers or hot dogs would be a nice addition.
The pool areas were fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and offering options for both adults and children. Sunbeds were plentiful, but getting one with a parasol required queuing early. The pools and showers used slightly salty water, which was unusual but manageable. Unfortunately, snacks weren’t allowed at the sunbeds, a restriction not seen in many other all-inclusive resorts.
The location was a highlight. It’s a five-minute walk from the beach and surrounded by bars, restaurants, and shops, including a McDonald’s and nearby Aldi and Lidl supermarkets. Everything you might need is within easy reach.
Overall, this isn’t a luxury resort but offers decent value for money, sitting around a three-star level. The location is fantastic, most staff are excellent, the rooms are clean, and there’s a good variety of food and facilities. However, improvements are needed in several areas, including the entertainment team, restaurant organization, WiFi, and mini club cleanliness. Despite its flaws, we had an enjoyable stay and would consider returning.
