We stayed at the Gran Bahía in the apartments. On our first day, my husband had an accident and spent two days in the hospital. The staff went above and beyond to support us during this time, offering free wheelchair use and accommodating a special diet at no extra cost. They truly did everything possible to make our holiday as enjoyable as it could be under the circumstances. I highly recommend the hotel, apartments, location, and especially the outstanding staff.

I was anxious after reading some earlier reviews, but here’s my current experience—we’re still here at the moment: · **Family Room**: It’s incredibly spacious and spotless, cleaned five times a week. There’s a kitchenette with dishes, plus complimentary sponges and dishwashing liquid. We believe we received a free upgrade to a sea view room, which we truly appreciated! · **Food**: Though we booked for breakfast only, the variety is immense, and the quality is excellent! We especially enjoy the fresh fruit every morning. We also tried lunch once, which was impressive—even my picky 6-year-old loved it. · **Location**: Perfectly situated right by the beach, with clean waters and a well-maintained shoreline. Renting two beach beds and an umbrella costs €21/day. · **Pools**: There are several pools available, but we prefer the beach since we have pools at home. From what I’ve noticed, there’s an abundance of sun loungers, and the grounds are well-maintained. · **Staff**: The personnel are delightful—friendly, cheerful, and always willing to assist. They provide beach towels, which you can swap twice weekly for free, or more frequently for €1 per exchange. · **Kids Facilities**: Plenty for children to enjoy, including a playground, football pitch (where my child spent most of his time), kids’ club, and daily activities. · **Convenient Location**: Right near a bus stop that’s just a five-minute ride to Can Picafort and fifteen minutes to Port d'Alcúdia. The area is surrounded by pine trees, with shops and restaurants near the hotel. Overall, this resort is remarkable—despite being classified as 3-star, it far exceeds many 4- or even 5-star accommodations we’ve visited during our travels to nearly 70 countries worldwide. I surprised my husband and our 10-year-old daughter with this tour during our vacation, and it was an absolute hit! Booking this tour for today was the best decision. Our guide, Herbie, did an amazing job! He is incredibly passionate, provides bilingual explanations, and is an all-around great guy! A special mention goes to the chilled water offered throughout the tour ;) We had several shorter pauses as well as one longer break, with incredible stops featuring breathtaking views and stunning scenery. From winding mountain roads to charming old towns, to bays and peaks—it was simply amazing! Thank you, Herbie! You made our tour so enjoyable and memorable! We really enjoyed the Buggy Tour 3. The four of us—two adults and two kids—traveled in one buggy. Our guide, Oleg, took us along back roads to Pollenca, then into the Tramuntana Mountains, and onwards.

Booked spontaneously and it turned out to be a lot of fun. After a short adjustment period in the buggies, we went on a lovely long drive. The tour included picturesque coastal roads where we took breaks, as well as winding country roads. The guides were all very friendly. I would recommend it to everyone—definitely worth the money.

Today we went on Tour 2, and it was an absolutely amazing experience that I would gladly do again anytime. Our guide Marcus was very friendly and pleasant throughout the journey. A big thumbs up for these 3 hours!

The hotel pleasantly surprised us – definitely a solid 3.5 stars. The room was quite spacious and functional, featuring a comfortable bed, a large wardrobe, a fridge, and a bathroom with a big shower and a cabinet for toiletries. It was cleaned daily, and the entire hotel was kept very tidy. Breakfast and dinner were delicious; though the selection wasn’t vast, everything was fresh and sure to suit all tastes. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always smiling, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Everything was well-organized – even during peak season, we never had to wait for anything. Nearby, there’s a sandy, spacious beach with gentle access to warm sea waters. Amazing holiday! Thank you :-)

Just returned from a week-long stay here with my husband and our 8-month-old, and I was pleasantly surprised. Location - Fantastic, right on the beach with supermarkets and a couple of restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. The beach bar next door had live music every night, and we often found ourselves sitting on the beach to enjoy it. Rooms - Ours was pretty basic but very clean and had everything we needed. The fridge worked well, and the sea view from our room was stunning—watching the sunrise over the ocean was a highlight. Staff - The staff was incredible and couldn’t do enough to help. They fussed over our baby, which was really sweet. Antonio at the pool bar was always busy and cheerful, Felisa in the restaurant was lovely and made sure we had a table and a clean high chair, and Dave, who handled the entertainment, was always upbeat and friendly. Entertainment - Each evening featured a kids' disco, followed by bingo and then an act. While it was fun, it did get a bit repetitive after a week, so it may not hold up for longer stays. Food - The buffet was great, with a nice variety each night, and we always found something we enjoyed. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. One minor critique: the baby pool was quite small, and it sometimes got crowded with groups of adults and one child, which made it hard to use at times. Overall, this place offers excellent value for money. Though some facilities could use a little updating, the hotel was exceptionally clean, and we would definitely return for an affordable family getaway.

We booked a last-minute holiday to Son Baulo with Tui and stayed in a superior, sea-view room on the 4th floor with a beautiful view of the beach and sea. The room was immaculately clean, had plenty of storage space, and a walk-in shower. However, we wish we had known that the air conditioning could be left on when needed, as it turned off at 7 am just as we were waking up. On the day before our departure, we discovered at reception, after chatting with other guests, that for €18 per week, we could have arranged to use it as needed. We stayed half-board, and the food was excellent with a wide variety to choose from daily. The evening entertainment was enjoyable, starting with children's activities like dancing and karaoke, followed by a short bingo session and a performer who was great on the nights we attended. The Friday market, only a short walk down the harbor, was a highlight and definitely worth visiting. With the hot weather during our stay, taking a dip in the sea was absolutely refreshing. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday at Son Baulo and wouldn't hesitate to return.

This was our 14th visit to Hotel Son Baulo and our second this year—and for good reason. The location is unbeatable, sitting right on the beach. Whether it's your first or fourteenth time visiting, the staff welcomes you like old friends. This time, we booked last minute and stayed in a Superior sea view room, one of their updated options with a wraparound balcony offering stunning views of both the pool and the beach/sea. The value for money here is truly excellent, with breakfast and evening meals included. The bar prices are very reasonable, and the lunchtime food options are great as well. The housekeeping staff is friendly and incredibly thorough, always ensuring everything is spotless and nothing is too much trouble for them. This time, our room was on level 2, facing the beach. We did hear a bit of music in the evening from an event at The Moai beach bar, but it ended by midnight and didn’t disturb us much. We usually enjoy evening walks along the promenade into Can Pic, which is about a 20-25 minute stroll depending on your pace. There are plenty of bars and restaurants there for a change of scenery. If you're seeking an affordable holiday with fantastic staff and an unbeatable location, the Son Baulo Hotel is ideal. The location is perfect, right on the sea front, making it ideal. The rooms were clean, nice, and perfectly suitable for a holiday stay. The food was excellent with a great variety to choose from. There were lovely sitting and relaxation areas available. Although the pool was located across the road from the main site, it was a good spot and included a jacuzzi. We had a fantastic holiday, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

I chose the Galaxia Boutique for a budget-friendly getaway with my eldest daughter. As it was our first time in Majorca, I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews about the hotel. Despite a delayed flight and arriving around 2am, we rang the bell and were promptly greeted. The room was clean and spacious enough for two adults, equipped with a fan and a suitably sized bathroom. Though located at the back of the hotel with a modest view, the outdoor space was pleasantly adequate for sitting. We opted for bed and breakfast, and the breakfast did not disappoint! There was plenty of variety, including pastries, cereals, continental options, yogurt, fruit, as well as eggs, beans, sausage, and bacon. We really enjoyed the meals. Over our five-night stay, the cleaners reliably emptied the bin and changed towels daily if needed. This hotel is undeniably budget-friendly, but I found it to be a true gem. Located a five-minute walk from the beach, it offers everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. Although there is Wi-Fi, it only worked in the foyer area. The pool is generously sized with ample beds and umbrellas, though we preferred spending our time at the beach. Be mindful that there is no air conditioning, which we were aware of beforehand—though we hadn’t fully anticipated just how hot it would be. The provided fan helped minimally, so be prepared for warm and sweaty nights. With an 11am checkout, our midnight flight left us with time to utilize the luggage storage area provided by the hotel. After visiting a local market, we returned and relaxed in the hotel’s seating area until around 6pm when it was time to leave. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We recently returned from a 7-night all-inclusive stay here as a family of three (our son is 3 years old). Overall, we had a very good experience. There are a few areas that could be improved, but the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. Positives: · The hotel was very clean, and the rooms were cleaned daily by the maids to a high standard. · Great selection of food for an all-inclusive, especially for kids. The fresh fruit was particularly delicious. · The mini disco every night was a hit with the little ones. · Convenient location, just a 15-minute walk to the harbor, which made our boat trip easy to arrange. · Plenty of sunbeds available at any time of day—no need to wake early to reserve one. · Good drink selection, including 0% bottled beer, which was perfect for me as I’m pregnant. · The shower was excellent, with great water pressure. Areas for improvement: · There isn’t enough shade around the pool. More umbrellas are definitely needed, especially in peak season. · The pool area becomes very wet and slippery, with no warning signs. Plastic walkways could help prevent accidents. · The entertainment was extremely loud. Our room overlooked the stage, and it often felt like we were right there at the show. We considered moving rooms but had already unpacked. · Only one lift was working in our building, and it was very slow. On some days, we waited over 10 minutes to get back to our room with the pram. · The balcony is off the living area. Personally, we’d prefer it off the bedroom so we wouldn’t disturb our son while he sleeps. · The centralized air conditioning was not effective. Although set to 16°C, our room stayed at 22–23°C, as confirmed by our baby monitor. The corridors and reception area were also hot and stuffy. · The beds were comfortable but consisted of two singles pushed together, not a proper double bed. · Evening drinks service was slow. You couldn’t order at the bar, which was frustrating, especially for kids, as it was so hot during our stay. These are just some general areas for improvement, but overall, we had a great stay. It offered good value for money, particularly during peak school holiday season.

At lunchtime, a waiter shows you to your table and takes your order from a menu with a great variety of choices. As a vegetarian and a very picky eater, I was delighted with the options available. Dinner followed a similar pattern, with drinks ordered at the table, which enhanced the relaxed and upscale restaurant ambience. Although the vegetarian dinner choices didn’t completely align with my tastes, a hearty breakfast, a delicious lunch, and mouthwatering desserts ensured I was never left hungry. The **rooms were excellent** – spacious, modern, spotless, and cozy, creating a homely atmosphere. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, and the bathroom, with its large wet-room style shower, was exceptional. However, we did enjoy two exceptional singers who brought more atmosphere. A bit more variety and energy could definitely elevate the nightly experience. The location of the hotel is fantastic. A 10-minute walk brings you to a delightful area with souvenir shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, and a beautiful beach. On two of the evenings, there were town center events, which were great since the hotel didn’t have entertainment every night. As a group of five girls, it’s also worth noting that we felt perfectly safe walking into town and back to the hotel. Plus, the supermarket next door was super convenient. Here’s a quick **hot weather tip**: bring a lilo with you if you’re visiting in summer! Pool floats were around €20 down at the front, and you’ll definitely want one to cool off. The food was fresh, varied, and excellent, with a great selection and themed nights offering variety. The à la carte lunch was a highlight—relaxed, delicious, and served at a lovely pace. · *Room - 5/5 ⭐️** We stayed in a Junior Suite with a Plunge Pool, and it was perfect. The bed was large and comfortable, the wardrobe spacious, and the balcony huge. The plunge pool was a great size and cleaned daily. The bathroom was modern and roomy. Although we experienced a minor leak, it was fixed almost immediately once reported. · *Pool & Sunbeds - 4/5 ⭐️** The pool area was lovely for relaxation. However, we felt that upgrading the sunbeds or adding padded cushions would enhance comfort, as they can feel firm after a while. The hotel’s policy regarding reserved sunbeds worked well; staff placed notes on unattended beds and removed items if necessary after 45 minutes. Just returned from a 5-night stay at Tonga Towers in Can Picafort, and it was a wonderful holiday. I believe people should have realistic expectations when booking all-inclusive holidays. I really can't find much to fault about this one—the food was excellent, with daily changes offering plenty of variety. Even during peak times, the restaurant wasn't overly crowded, and we managed just fine as a family of five. Yes, the lifts do get busy, but that's to be expected in many places. The morning lounger queue was manageable—I usually went down around 7:25 a.m., and there were about a dozen people ahead of me. We even secured the same spot every day, in the front row just by the bridge. It tends to be quieter if you head around to the day beds near the bubble pool. With several shallow pools available, there's always a spot to cool off, but if you're expecting Olympic-sized swimming laps, a leisure center might be more your thing. Our airport transfer took around 1.5 hours after landing at 11 p.m., while the return trip at 4 p.m. was a bit shorter. The Sky Bar is a fantastic spot for adults, and the tasting menu was lovely—though it might not suit everyone’s palate. The staff were all extremely kind and attentive. Do keep in mind that they enforce a two-alcoholic-drink rule and request that guests avoid entering the bar soaking wet straight from the pool—fair enough, just stick to the rules. Rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. The showers did leak a little, but this seems to be a common occurrence on holiday. The snack bar served great lunch options, complemented by the wider variety in the restaurant. Entertainment was enjoyable—not on the scale of professional theatres like Palladium or Drury Lane, but the animation team deserves full credit for their effort. They manage kids' clubs, daily activities, and evening shows, keeping a busy schedule. The beach is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. It’s a narrow strip of sand, and renting five beds with two umbrellas cost us around 50 euros for the day. The sea is clean and sandy underfoot, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby for a change of pace. A tip for the last day: hire hotel towels on your final evening, that way you can pack your dry towels and simply return the hotel's in the bins at the spa area to get your €10 deposit per towel back (just keep the receipt!). Overall, it was a brilliant experience. I'd love to give this trip five stars, but a 4.5 rating feels more accurate. For context, we were a group of five adults ("kids" aged 23, 20, and 17).

Lunch for four, including beer, sangria, and two cokes, came to about €65. A special shoutout to the lovely Margarita, who was incredibly kind, friendly, and hardworking! The pools were beautiful, and there were always plenty of loungers available. The beach nearby is stunning, though it's a public beach. Renting two loungers, an umbrella, and a safe costs €19.50 for the day. The town of Can Picafort is just a 10-minute walk away, offering a great selection of restaurants and shops.

My mom (58) and I (35) had an absolutely fantastic 3-hour tour on Monday, 10th August 2026, with the incredibly friendly and thorough guide "Marcus." He speaks German fluently and explained everything calmly and in detail. For an additional €15, we received photos and a video taken during the ride with a GoPro. During the tour, I got stung by a wasp, but Marcus was well-prepared with cooling cream and water. The buggies were in excellent condition, both well-maintained and technically sound. We drove up to a castle where there’s a café offering cold drinks and a WC—such a lovely spot! We thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to come back next year for a longer tour. The entire team was fantastic, and the booking process, including the deposit, was seamless. Highly recommended! A must-do experience in Can Picafort. Best regards from Tirol, Jasmin and Gerda
