2026 Canillo Travel Guide: must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transport & travel experiences (updated in September)

#summervacay Okay, Mirador Roc del Quer is one of those spots that makes you feel tiny in the best way. It’s this epic viewpoint in Canillo, Andorra, with a glass platform that juts out over the valley, literally like you're floating above the mountains. It’s both amazing and kinda terrifying if you're not into heights (but totally worth it). The views? Insane. You get this panoramic look at the Pyrenees, all green hills, winding roads, and tiny villages way below. There’s also a super chill statue just sitting on the edge of the platform like it’s no big deal, major photo op moment right there. Getting there is super easy by car, and there’s parking nearby, so it’s a quick stop if you’re road-tripping around Andorra. We went close to sunset and the golden light just made everything glow. Bring a jacket though, it gets a bit windy up top! All in all, it's a quick, breezy adventure with massive views. Total must see.

#bucketlistreboot After finishing the visit of Mirador del Roc del Quer, on the roadside found this lovely outdoor seating restaurant located at Av. Sant Joan de Caselles, 26, AD100 Canillo Andorra, opposite Palau de Gel. Most of the menu in Andorra are in four languages: Cat-Catalan, Esp-Spanish, Fra-France, Eng-English. I had ordered a Mushroom Risotto and a Espresso. Both taste ok, the mushrooms are quite many, the meals are also not expensive, costing Eur 13.80. After walking for few hours on the bridge and the view point, stomach sure very hungry, need to replenish energy back, in order to walk a longer distance.

#bucketlistreboot The opening of Canillo Tibetan Bridge in June, makes one of the most impressive attractions in the Pyrenees, Andorra. Located around 21 kilometers away from Andorra La Vella. The bridge can only be accessed by boarding the official bus from Canillo, which is included in the price of admission. At the bus stop, the remaining 900 meters can only be reached by foot. The bridge which is located at an altitude of 1875 meters, is one meter wide, so allows people to move in both directions. It is one of the longest bridges in the world, with a length of 603 meters and a height of 158 meters above Vall del Riu ( River Valley ), that one should not miss it, when you come to Andorra.
