To reach the viewpoint, you need to walk across the railway tracks and under the train bridge, then continue into the forest for about 500 meters. Once there, you'll be greeted with a breathtaking view of the Three Sisters peaks in Canmore. The journey is absolutely worth it, even if the path might seem a bit challenging at first. Admittedly, the walk can feel a little intimidating, especially near the marked spot on Google Maps. There is roadside parking available near the marked location, so you can park your car and walk across the railway tracks to reach the viewpoint. There’s plenty of small spots on the highway to park your car and enjoy the lookout for a while. If you plan to drive to Jasper, have a full tank because there’s no gas stations on the way.

To save money, I lived in Canmore and took a bus to travel around in Banff. Here are some sites that I visited: 🏔️Three Sisters, Canmore🏔️ Even just in Canmore, you can see many beautiful mountains. The Three Sisters are the most famous ones. The people there are very nice and friendly because most locals live in Canmore not Banff, so you get to enjoy the warmth of the locals while living in Canmore surrounded by mountains. 🏔️Banff National Park🏔️ 📍Lake Louise Lake Louise is truly a place that will make you feel like you’re in a painting. The unique turquoise color of the lake is definitely what makes the lake so beautiful. It is beyond the description of words. You have to visit it yourself to experience the wonder. 📍Johnston Canyon At Johnston Canyon, you get to see all kinds of amazing views, including canyon, creek, waterfall, and even cliffs made with ice! Some of the waterfall is even frozen into ice sticks. The total length of the hike is about 2.6km, so you can complete it without too much effort. However, in winter time the road is covered with ice, so it’s quite slippery. Please bring shoes that have spikes when you visit. 📍Tunnel Mountain If you want to hike the easiest mountain in Banff, Tunnel Mountain is a relatively easy one for travellers. Canmore, located right next to Banff National Park! Similar to Banff, it is surrounded by the Rocky Mountains, but since it is not a national park, you can do activities that you cannot do in Banff. It is also where I lived and it is a tourist destination, but it is not crowded, so you can enjoy leisurely time.

Canmore, where you can see the Northern Lights if you're lucky. When I lived in Canmore, there was a day when the Northern Lights were extremely high. I waited until dawn and luckily the Northern Lights appeared right before my eyes. I'll never forget the experience of lying on the roof of my house and seeing the Northern Lights!

Canada !!!! Beautiful place to visit we done this trip ten years ago and I would highly recommend anyone to visit. The places we went were Vancouver , Banff , Calgary , grouse mountain, the Rockies ( worth the helicopter flight over it for the full experience. Calgary has the wolf dog sanctuary which was absolutely worth a visit and grouse mountain has beautiful grizzly bears that are very interesting. I would definitely do this holiday again and finally the barbecue place at Vancouver was so beautiful we actually went there two times for dinners. The zoo was very nice to visit as well. So many places to go and see.

The whole way back is about 3.4 kilometers, two routes to choose from—Easy Route (flatter), Interpretive Trail (spectacular but more difficult), I chose the latter this time, although the war but well worth it. Along the way there are mountains, forests, canyons, trees, and ice and snow. From time to time, you can see the lake water reflecting emerald green in the sunlight, the wildflowers on the shore mixed with the blue sky and white clouds, extremely healing! Must check in 1.
