Finding Solace in the Serenity of Paddling Away
Life can sometimes feel like a turbulent sea, but amidst the waves, there is solace 🌊 Lately, the pressures of social media have weighed heavily on me, and it's essential to remember that it's impossible to please everyone. In this tranquil moment, as captured by the talented @bisayanghilaw, I paddle away from my problems, embracing the peace and serenity that the ocean brings. Let this be a gentle reminder that kindness, towards others and ourselves, is paramount. May we find solace in the soothing embrace of the sea and cherish moments of self-compassion.

Pawa beach resort is a great place to go to and it’s very inexpensive but you will surely enjoy there. There are karaoke for the barkada outing and they also serve booze. You can also bring your own drinks or food without corkage fee. They offer cottages too where you can have a full view of the beach. Hope this helps you and I hope you enjoy your stay there soon! 👌❤️

Mt. Nangtud ⛰️
#LoveAntique #DiscoverAntique 🇵🇭
Mount Nangtud is the second highest peak on the island of Panay, in the Philippines and third highest mountain in the Visayas, after Mount Kanlaon and Mount Madja-as. With an elevation of 2,074 m (6,804 ft) above sea level, it is located in Jamindan, Capiz sharing border with Barbaza, Antique. Mount Nangtud is famous for its "sea of clouds" and rich for its diverse flora and fauna and mossy forest. It is part of the Central Panay Mountain Range, the longest and largest mountain range in Panay and Western Visayas.
" Knife Edge Trail " is the most famous and scenic trail in Mount Nangtud. Because of its geographic location on Panay island, it is technically one of the most challenging mountain to climb in the Visayas, with 8/9 difficulty, alongside Mount Baloy, Mount Madja-as and Mount Kanlaon.
The nearest peaks are Mount Kigas, Mount Dumara, Mount Bucayan, Mount Sipanag, Mount Dalangnan, Mount Nausang, Mount Balabag and overlooking Mount Madja-as to the northwest and Mount Baloy to the southeast.

Be amaze @Coyz Floating Cottage.! 🫶

The smell of gunpowder was thick in the air as the soldiers fired off their guns one at a time. The rapid succession of shots from the Armalite rifles felt disconcerting as we stood meters away from what felt like a firing line. We faced the soldiers dressed in full battle gear as they introduced themselves – rattling off their names, where they came from and their position in the battalion. They listed all the gear they carried with them – maps, GPS, grenades and the main weapon they carried before firing it into the air in a grand display.
Not exactly how I pictured our hiking trip to a waterfall would start. But since Malinamon Falls is located inside Camp Peralta, a military reservation in Jamindan, Capiz our visit was preceded by a courtesy call and a static squad tactics display. Seeing the weapons up close and talking to soldiers in training who served as our military escorts to the falls gave us a glimpse of the kind of work they do to protect the country. If you like chasing waterfalls when you travel or are looking for something more adventurous to do in Capiz after you’ve toured the usual historical sites, then Malinamon Falls is worth visiting. Its accessibility means that not a lot of people have visited yet, so chances are you will have the place to your own group. The hike is very manageable now that they have paved most of the road (it used to be much longer) and the view is worth it.
