I suggest you take different photos of the church from different angles. It has a bell tower, considered one of the most important in Lower Plana, completed in 1791, made of ashlar, the tower begins with the first body, square in plan, approximately in the middle, some apses make the transition to an octagonal plan, characteristic of the second body, which also has pilasters and cornices. The history of the castle is fascinating and this visit provides an excellent opportunity to learn about Segorbe's medieval history. The best part is that Segob Castle is free to enter and is open from 10:00 to 22:00, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. I recommend it to anyone who loves history and architecture! Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Castellón (Region) The village of Segobe is situated on a fertile plain washed by the Palancia River. Its medieval layout hides some architectural gems, such as the cathedral and the remains of ancient city walls. The remains of a medieval castle on the nearby hill of La Estrella recall Segorbe’s palatial origins. Named after the abundant springs found in the area, Plaza Agua Limpia is the town's nerve centre. There is the Town Hall, built in the 16th century and formerly the palace of the Dukes of Medinaceli. The Cathedral of Santa Maria was built in Gothic style and was later rebuilt in Neoclassical style. Its interior contains seven chapels and a beautiful cloister, a valuable manuscript preserved in the archives, and a series of paintings in the chapel. Several churches stand out in the medieval layout of the city: the Church of San Pedro, the Church of San Martín, the Church of San Joaquín and the Church of Santa Ana. Due to its past defense, the village still preserves the round tower of Bottessi and the tower of the prison, which were once part of the ancient walls, together with the Veronica Arch. Finally, we can end our tour of the city by visiting the Cathedral Museum, the Archaeological Museum and the Ethnological Museum. This semi-enclosed laundry room has become another tourist attraction. With a little imagination you can imagine the old times?
