As we explored the castle’s grand halls, towers, and the beautifully landscaped grounds, it was easy to get lost in the stories of Roman soldiers, Norman invaders, and the Victorian aristocracy who once called this place home. The intricate details of the Gothic Revival architecture, combined with the panoramic views from the castle’s keep, provided a deep sense of Cardiff’s rich past and its significance in Welsh history. After immersing ourselves in the history of Cardiff Castle, we headed towards Cardiff Bay, the city’s stunning waterfront area where the River Taff meets the Bristol Channel. Walking along the waterfront, we enjoyed the fresh sea breeze and the sight of sailboats gliding across the water. Have a roar-some time, dinosaurs at the museum of Wales

The National Museum of Wales is a fantastic free day out for the whole family, located in the heart of Cardiff’s civic center. The museum is housed in a stunning building and houses both a natural history museum, art gallery and dedicated sections about the history of wales itself. The museum is famous for it’s large collection of dinosaur bones and life size models, I remember going so many times as a child - so it’s amazing to be able to come back and visit again. The natural history galleries are on the lower floors with the art galleries on the higher floors and through the extensions added to the back of the building. There is a nice cafe and gift shop in the main atrium where you can sit back and take in the stunning building around you. Lovely Hostel in Cardiff

Name: Mrs. Pott Hostel Location: 109 St. Mary Street, Cardiff, UK This is one of the very few hostels in Cardiff, it very affordable with less than £20 a night for a dorm bed. Free hot drinks are available self serviced. The location of this place is perfect, only 6 mins walk from Cardiff Castle. Shopping mall and all restaurants are just around! The bed comes with curtains so privacy is ensured. Washroom and shower is also very clean. Unfortunately Wifi isn’t easily connected in rooms. My second visit to a coffee shop In Birmingham on my quest to review every coffee bar in Birmingham for Google Maps. In The weather was fine so I sat outside. When entering the immediate impression one gets is of the stunningly beautiful ambience and decor, also the lighting makes one feel extremely relaxed immediately. The young lady who served me was very polite and offered excellent customer service. I did not eat anything here today but I have had a cake before, it was delicious. I cannot judge the food until I have tried, review to follow. My cappuccino was beautifully balanced not too strong not too weak served at the correct temperature. If you are visiting Birmingham, do not hesitate to visit this wonderful coffee shop and bar it is undoubtedly one of the best in Birmingham, you will not be disappointed.
