🌳💦 A Hidden Oasis at Bonsai No Sato – Your Private Pool Day
Cauayan’s Bonsai No Sato feels like a secret retreat for anyone wanting a slice of tranquility and fun. Swaying trees surround the sleek swimming pool, making it easy to imagine this spot as your own backyard hideaway—even when the weather turns cloudy or rainy, there’s a lush, calming vibe that sets the perfect mood.
Start: Head to Bonsai Forest, Sumanget, Dinapigue, Luzon 3336, Philippines—open most days for daytime relaxation. The recommended route from Cauayan is a direct drive, best done mid-morning to avoid traffic and have the pool mostly to yourself.
Must-dos: Dive right in! Lounge or swim in the main pool, surrounded by charming bonsai trees and greenery. Even if raindrops start falling, the scene is uniquely photogenic and the water feels refreshingly cool. Bonus: take advantage of the quieter vibe on rainy days, and just enjoy the space like it’s all yours.
Top photo spots: Snap a shot while relaxing at the poolside with green vegetation behind you—try to include the blue slide for a splash of color and fun in your frame. Moody clouds, tree silhouettes, and the pool’s reflections make great backgrounds for “insta-worthy” moments.
Visiting tips: Bring a light rain jacket (not an umbrella!), since rainy weather is common and trees offer limited shelter. Pack snacks since on-site options may be limited. If you prefer quiet, visit on a weekday morning. My personal tip: Don’t be shy about swimming, as locals are super welcoming and the pool truly feels like your own space.
Key precautions: Watch out for slippery tiles and bring your own towels, as amenities can be basic during off-peak hours.

I walked from the airport to the SM Transport centre to then get into a van to head to Bontoc as much cheaper to travel via two vans and one jeep to get to Banaue only cost me 600 Pesos plus tips compared to 9000 pesos.
Had so much fun on the vans and jeep and met many locals.

This was taken on our way to Cauayan Isabela to attend the wedding of my friend. This was my first time to travel via airplane and I was really nervous but at the same time excited. I enjoyed this awesome experience. The flight were very smooth and fast. The flight crews were also very kind and accommodating. If given the chance again and the money, I would like to travel again to experience awesome adventures.#Cauayan
