It's so beautiful it's almost unreal. The castle is surrounded by a lake, appearing to float on the water from afar—it's incredibly dreamlike. The weather was perfect when I visited; the sunlight shimmered on the water, creating a picture-perfect scene. Upon closer inspection, you'll discover incredibly elegant architectural details, giving the feeling that royalty actually lived there. The Musée Condé inside is also a highlight, boasting an astonishingly large collection, second only to the Louvre in size, making it the second largest museum of ancient paintings in France! However, it's surprisingly less crowded, making for a comfortable and relaxed stroll. My favorite part is the incredibly luxurious library. The wooden bookshelves and manuscripts look like scenes from a movie, exuding a strong scholarly atmosphere. There's also a long gallery filled with classic paintings; you'll find yourself unconsciously slowing down, stopping to admire each painting. The gardens outside the castle are also vast. Strolling through them while admiring the reflections in the lake is incredibly relaxing. Nature lovers will absolutely adore it. If you have enough time, the nearby equestrian museum and equestrian shows are also famous (but schedules vary). French Chateau de Chantis.. It is the personal chateau of the Duke of Aumale, the son of the last king of France, Louis Philippe. It is located 50 kilometers from Paris, less than an hour away by car. It is said that his descendants still manage it as a personal chateau. It used to be private property from the entrance, so he is the owner of an incredibly large piece of land. The entrance fee is about 18 euros per person. Chantis Chateau, which is also visited by many French people.. It was also crowded with many visitors on the day I visited. After parking in the parking lot and getting off, On the right is the huge and magnificent Chateau de Chantis, and on the left is a building that looks like a museum, which is the stables.
