I went on a holiday at 8hotel in Chigasaki, Kanagawa! The price was the same as a twin room, so I chose a connecting room this time! Even friends can have their own private space, and best of all, we can use the bathroom individually! Kona's Coffee Shonan Chigasaki A stylish Hawaiian shop The sofas are stylish. The atmosphere inside the shop is full of Hawaiian vibes. The menu mainly consists of plates. I had fried chicken made with rice flour. It was crispy and juicy. It came with a sauce that wasn't too spicy, like salsa sauce, which went well with the fried chicken. They also had a lot of pancakes and drinks. The parking lot was spacious.

I visited Shonan Chigasaki, a roadside station in Chigasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, which opened on July 7, 2025. Since it's Kanagawa Prefecture, the prices are a bit high, but it was packed with delicious food. ☺️ The first photo shows a 2,500 yen boat-shaped set meal from the restaurant on the second floor. The second photo shows a reasonably priced bento box called Kayake-ben (Chigaben) for 777 yen and a seafood bowl in the 1,000 yen range. The third and fourth photos show prepared foods and bento boxes from famous local restaurants. The fifth photo shows a series of vegetables grown without pesticides. The sixth photo shows the exterior. Their soft anago (sea eel) sushi is especially popular.

Annie's Soup Curry has a warm and comfortable environment. The colorful vegetables and meat in the signature soup curry dance in the soup. The first bite, the rich soup instantly bursts in the mouth, and the layering of spices surprises me, as if I am embarking on a journey of taste buds. One of the characteristics here is the variety of wild vegetable toppings, each of which makes me shine. From fresh spinach to crispy and sweet carrots, the colors are colorful, making my soup curry look like a work of art.

I had breakfast at Southern Beach Cafe, a 3-minute walk from Chigasaki Nishihama Beach! The biggest attraction of this cafe is the blue sea and sky that fill the entire large window!! And for breakfast, you can eat cube-shaped bread, limited to 100 servings per day. When I went to the store at 8:30 on a weekday, there were seats available, but the cube-shaped bread for a customer who came in around 9:00 had already run out, so if you want to eat it, I recommend coming early! I took a surfing trial lesson at Southern Beach Surf House. To be honest, there were no waves that day, so I couldn't ride a wave at all lol But I still found small waves and practiced standing up and I improved my paddling. It was a summer that made me want to try again next summer and become able to surf. It's fun just to float in the ocean, but it's also fun to try something new that you've never done before! #0yentravelautumn
