Amazon Rainforest Ceiba Tops Lodge After a combination of plane✈️ + bus🚌 + boat🚢, finally arrived at the place from childhood geography lessons—the Amazon Rainforest! Stayed in a cabin deep in the rainforest at Ceiba Tops Lodge, which is considered one of the better hotels in the rainforest. 👍Pros: Air conditioning, hot water, swimming pool, great environment, very photogenic. Includes three meals, all buffet style. Although the variety isn’t extensive, the taste is decent, with vegetables, meat dishes (dinner includes fish and steak, the next day’s lunch has fish and fried chicken strips), fruits, and coffee all available, so you won’t go hungry. They also provide airport transfers, have their own dock, and offer various rainforest adventure activities such as rainforest hiking, searching for pink dolphins, visiting indigenous tribes, and piranha fishing... Staying at this hotel basically means you don’t need to book other tours! 👎Cons: After all, it’s in the rainforest, so some hardships are expected. The so-called “cons” of this hotel are probably the same for others: No toiletries or hairdryer. Only soap and shampoo that costs 1 sol, so it’s recommended to bring your own in advance. Wi-Fi is only available at the front desk; there’s no signal in the rooms! Mobile signal is also weak, and some rooms don’t have any signal at all. After checking in, we followed the hotel guide for a deep rainforest hiking adventure, discovering all kinds of fascinating plants we had never seen before. This 6 million square kilometer rainforest has already lost nearly one-fifth of its area, and with climate and environmental impacts, the remaining part still faces crises, with the rainforest area continuously shrinking. Therefore, you really need to seize the time and visit early to fully appreciate and experience this unique “Lung of the Earth”!

Lunch and dinner were fixed menus, with no Asian options. Those with a particularly Chinese palate might want to bring their own chili sauce and pickled vegetables. 2️⃣: Room 101 was close to the engine, resulting in significant vibration and noise. We slept in one night and moved to another room where the noise was less of a problem. I recommend choosing a room on the first floor; personally, I think the view is better. Then, the advantages: 1️⃣ Excellent service throughout, no doubt about it. Of course, the tips were also high, 70 baht per person per day. Laundry service was included.
