Don’t miss a picnic on the sand: the lack of amenities makes it a true castaway experience (bring food, water, and shade). Try close-ups of the sand for the unique crushed-shell effect, or wide angles showing endless empty coast. Practical tip: There’s no entry fee and no crowds—often, you’ll have the whole place to yourself! Plan your visit between November and April for idyllic weather and minimal rain. There is a 17mile entrance ticket office on Route 68, and the ticket seller will give us a map with a clear mark on each point on the map. The park is a private hotel, a luxury home, a golf course, and there are many tourists along the coast. The points on the map are mostly on the coast. There are many wild birds and squirrels here. Please don't feed the birds and squirrels here. Artificial feeding will destroy the animals' own habits. We saw a wounded sea lion on the edge of a beach. A girl was kneeling on the ground, but as more and more tourists gathered around it and ignorantly fed it and touched it, a local person bypassing the run dispelled the visitors. This is a place where humans and nature are in harmony, and we hope to see such pictures all the time.

17miles is a well-known coastline in the United States, located between Monterey and Carmel (the town of Carmel), where the land was bought by the wealthy Americans and became a private area. It was once not very famous. After being privately developed, it was found to be carefully packaged and publicized. It is known as the most scenic spot on Highway 1. Of course, I claim that I don't agree. The last time I came to 17mile, I felt that there was no special feature. This kind of scenery can be seen everywhere on Highway No. 1, let alone spend 17mile. If there is not enough time on Highway 1, this is a sight that can be abandoned.
