Archeological Site of Heraion at Perachora 🇬🇷
#summerdestinations
During my summer vacation, I explored the Archaeological Site of Heraion at Perachora, and it was an unforgettable experience. Nestled on the beautiful Corinthian Gulf, this ancient sanctuary dedicated to the goddess Hera is both serene and historically rich. The entrance fee was just €8, which felt like a bargain for the depth of history you get to dive into. The site features impressive ruins, including an ancient temple and a fascinating sanctuary complex with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. 🌿🏛️
Nearby, I discovered the charming town of Perachora, where you can enjoy local cuisine and scenic coastal views. If you have more time, don’t miss the Lake Vouliagmeni, just a short drive away, known for its unique thermal waters and relaxing atmosphere. The combination of historical intrigue and natural beauty made this visit a standout part of my trip.

Discover the heritage of ancient Corinth at the Corinth Museum
This is the Corinth Museum, which I visited during my trip to Greece. This important site preserves and exhibits artifacts from the ancient Corinthian civilization. Built in 1931, it houses artifacts excavated from the American School of Classical Studies at Athens.
The building was built by Ada Small Moore in memory of her father, Edward Alonzo Small, a scholar who loved academics and ancient Greek culture.
The museum itself is filled with exhibits, including pottery, sculptures, and architectural remains, showcasing the life and culture of the ancient Corinthians. It's a place where you can experience the glorious history and traces of ancient Greece up close, making it a must-see for travelers interested in history and archaeology.

Ancient Temple – Corinth, Greece
One of Greece’s oldest and most iconic ruins.
The Temple of Apollo in ancient Corinth stands with its sturdy Doric columns — a silent reminder of the city’s classical glory.
Surrounded by hills and open skies, it’s a breathtaking glimpse into ancient Greek civilization.

Greece Cengria Port
#Southeast Asia Flight Ticket Event The port of Cengria, where the biblical figure Paul is said to have cut his hair. It is a place visited by pilgrims, so it was quiet in March. During the peak season, there must be many locals and tourists who come to play in the water. It is a place where the water is so clear and clean that I want to go back in the summer.
