Chained Hotpot restaurants in Taiwan
Friends invited us for dinner there and we’re a group of 8. It’s a popular hotpot brand with restaurants in different areas in Taiwan. Even we’ve reserved a table but we still had to wait for 15 minutes. Interior design is quite modern and seating not too crowded. The staffs were quite attentive and friendly. We did ordered quite a lot of good and they’re all very fresh and some were fusions. Spicy duck blood is a very common hotpot item that you must try in Taiwan. Their duck blood was delicious and they refilled it from time to time. Besides hotpot, they also offered their signature chicken feet which was limited and for dine in only. If you are a fan of chicken feet, just don’t miss it as it’s really yummy.

The 'Moonshine Coffee Roasters' has been on my list for a while, and I regret not visiting sooner. Although the menu isn't extensive, the variety of coffee options alone is enough to make you happy. I highly recommend trying their alcoholic coffee selections as well. 🤟

🔰 Moon Surface / $170 (Affogato)

Da'an District, Taipei City - Lao Za Mou Luo Si Fen Yanji Store.
The environment is very comfortable, with bright lighting, and you can see it at a glance as you pass by. It's located in the Eastern District shopping area, and the location is fantastic. The service is also very good.
The main items on the menu are Luo Si Fen and Sour and Spicy Noodles. Luo Si Fen is similar to rice noodles, while Sour and Spicy Noodles are more like rice noodle rolls. If you have a delicate palate, remember to order Luo Si Fen 😂 otherwise, you might find the Sour and Spicy Noodles too overpowering. You can also tailor the flavor to your liking. The main ingredients vary in price depending on personal preference, but both the sour and spicy flavors are very strong. If you like this kind of food, you definitely need to give it a try.
Scent-sational discovery

I stumbled upon this charming Japanese-style store in Da'an that sells exquisite home scents. The welcoming aroma at the entrance, emanating from a large reed diffuser, instantly captivated me. The store offers a range of reed diffusers, room sprays, and candles, making it a tough choice between the diffuser and the spray. Ultimately, I opted for the room spray, drawn in by the exclusive Fleur de France scent, available only in that form. The store's concept impressed me, and despite initially thinking it was a local brand, I learned from the amiable staff that it hails from Thailand. While the prices weren't cheap, the exceptional experience and delightful scents made it worthwhile.
