This time, I traveled to Sharm El-Sheikh, a coastal paradise by the Red Sea. My first stop was the stunning Al Sahaba Mosque, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. With its majestic Ottoman-inspired domes and Mamluk-style minarets, the mosque stands as a symbol of unity and modern Islamic architecture. Though newly built, it feels like a timeless masterpiece set right in the heart of the old market. From Sharm, the journey continued to Dahab—a laid-back town that stole my heart. I spent the night there, wandering through its charming markets under the stars, surrounded by Bedouin crafts, colorful lanterns, and the scent of the sea. The next day, I hopped on an ATV and rode through Dahab’s golden desert trails with views of the mountains on one side and the shimmering sea on the other. Pure freedom! On the third day, I made my way to Taba, a quiet gem right on the border with Israel. The beaches there are absolutely stunning—clear turquoise water, peaceful vibes, and the feeling of standing at a crossroads between nations. This trip reminded me that Egypt is full of surprises. Not just ancient history, but hidden coastlines, rich culture, and moments of magic at every turn.

I came to Dahab to get a diving license. You can get a license here in 5 or 6 days. There are many diving centers, and I was taken care of by the only Japanese instructor in Dahab. Dahab has many places to see, and you can see creatures like this while taking a course. The first photo is of the turtle, which was taken when I dived for the last time after getting my license. Since it is nature, you may or may not see it. I was really happy that I was able to see it at the very end. I'm starting to understand how to enjoy diving. It is a small person hotel with only 5 rooms, it is very modern and clean, it has a lovely big terrace for you to sit and also a roof terrace. The man who owns the hotel is very friendly… we will definitely return

The drive is amazing because you are driving between the south Sinai mountain’s which are a sight definitely worth seeing …. Fantastic 👍🏽👌🏽

The food in Kitchen Express in South Sinai Dahab is sooooo good 👌🏽. We tried the hot and sour soup and crispy spring rolls, special fried rice, sizzling beef schezwan , chicken in oyster sauce, sweet and sour chicken and special noodles and all of it was amazing, it was very busy and they only have a few tables so we had to wait a little bit it just made the food taste all the better, definitely will visit here on our next trip to Dahab #yummyfood #chinesefood #foodie

Yalla bar is beachfront in beautiful Dahab in south Sinai, it is very colourful and the breakfast and the iced coffee was amazing. Our day out to blue lagoon was brilliant, we took a taxi from Dahab then a speed boat then a pick up truck to get there. The Blue Lagoon is one of the best things to do in Dahab! This lagoon is a large sheltered natural pond of calm, crystal clear water. There are a few small local restaurants and many small huts owned by the local Bedouins. This is a perfect place to spend the day relaxing, swimming, or exploring the Blue Lagoon is a also a kitesurfing paradise as it is very breezy #wintergetaway #Blue lagoon

Many people have arrived in Dahab, they can't walk, and they stay for ten days and a half. Even many Korean backpackers rent a house directly here. What is the magic power of this small seaside city, so that everyone is willing to stay. Dahab is a leisurely small city in Egypt. It is a paradise for diving enthusiasts. You can experience a dive with 15 knives, and more importantly, the free atmosphere here. Dahab is not big. You can walk around this place for half an hour. The first time is novel, the second time is familiar, and the people on the third street have become your friends. Everyone is willing to say hello to you. The prices of restaurants and cafes on the beach are very cheap. Just walk into a restaurant with a sea view. A 20 yuan can get a seafood dinner. This is a cheap and comfortable city. Everyone is a stranger, but everyone Its all family, this fascinating life is the magic of Dahab.

Everywhere I went, friendly cats would come over looking for a little attention. Some would happily sit beside me, others would rub against my legs as if we'd known each other forever. Good afternoon! I’d like to share my review of this hotel from our stay between June 14-22. We are a young couple. The hotel is just 10-15 minutes from the airport. The staff is incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful, always smiling and ready to answer any questions. The pleasant atmosphere makes you feel welcome as soon as you step into the hotel. 1. **Room**: We booked a superior room on the 4th-6th floor and were placed on the 6th floor. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with slippers, bathrobes, a wonderful balcony, a fridge, a safe, and all necessary toiletries. The bed was huge with an amazing mattress! Our room (637) was located directly under the restaurant. This was the only downside, as the evening shows and music could be faintly heard even with the balcony closed, but it wasn’t disruptive enough to ruin our stay. The shows end around 10:00 PM. Keep that in mind. The view from the room was stunning. Having everything in one building—restaurant, gym, reception—was very convenient. However, a couple of fire alarms went off during the night, which was quite frightening. 2. **Occupancy**: The hotel was only half-full, with just one wing open for guests, which meant there were few people around—something we truly appreciated. There were almost no kids; I counted a maximum of three during our stay. This hotel is more suitable for adults seeking a quiet, peaceful environment. 3. **Restaurant**: The restaurant offers an incredible outdoor terrace on the 7th floor with panoramic views of the sea, islands, yachts, and sunsets—absolutely breathtaking! Live music such as violin and piano performances further elevated the ambiance. The terrace is divided into dining and lounge zones. No queues for food, and while the selection isn’t extensive, everything is delicious and feels homemade. Outside, there’s always a barbecue serving pasta, burgers, chicken, beef, lamb, kebabs, fries, and pita bread. Inside, you’ll find tea, coffee, soups, salads, side dishes (two to three options), and desserts. Seafood is regularly available—calamari, sea bass, and occasionally shrimp and crab. However, the lack of fruit was disappointing; we only saw apples, bananas, some underripe peaches, and sour plums. Very odd for a season rich in pineapples, mangoes, watermelons, and melons. That said, the dates were delicious! The food was excellently prepared, and we had no issues with food poisoning. When we inquired about the type of fish being served, the chef personally came out to explain. The beach bar even had a dishwasher for glasses, so no disposable cups! 4. **Birthday Gesture**: The hotel surprised us with a beautifully decorated room filled with balloons, flowers, and a delicious cake for a birthday celebration. A thoughtful and heartfelt touch—well done, team! 5. **Beach**: The beach is exceptional! One of the main reasons for choosing this hotel, it did not disappoint. It’s large, clean, and equipped with comfortable sunbeds, parasols, and wind barriers. There’s plenty of space between sunbeds, offering a private, tranquil experience. The beach bar, situated conveniently, overlooks the water. No queues, and there’s always beer and cocktails available. The sea access is primarily from the pier, but towards the end of the beach, there are small sandy coves where you can wade, feed fish, or just enjoy the water in coral shoes. The reef is phenomenal, and there’s a rich variety of marine life even near the shore. 6. **Excursions**: We didn’t attend the meeting with the guide, as it wasn’t our first trip. We booked a sunset boat tour directly at the beach. The trip was delightful—snorkeling, dolphin spotting, and returning to the pier afterward. Another excursion we took was to Dahab, including visits to the Colored Canyon, safaris, camel rides, and snorkeling. It was a budget-friendly option but tiring and riddled with meaningless stops at shops and souvenir stalls. Still, it’s a one-time experience worth trying if you want a break from the hotel. 7. **Service**: The staff in the hotel’s restaurants and bars is exemplary—attentive, observant, and caring. They remember your preferences and serve proactively, making the dining experience seamless. 8. **Housekeeping**: The room cleaning was timely and spotless. Our housekeeper, Mohammed, was polite and created towel art with flowers daily. Water bottles (2 per day) were provided, but you can request additional ones with a small tip or token of appreciation like chocolate. A kettle along with tea and coffee is available in the room. 9. **Entertainment**: Shows and discos are held in the evenings, although we didn’t attend any. Sweet gestures like giving chocolate to the staff during checkout were much appreciated—they genuinely seemed touched! 10. **Would I Return?**: Absolutely! The service, facilities, stunning beach, and peaceful atmosphere make this a perfect choice for relaxation and quiet downtime. It’s not a party destination, but for those seeking serenity, you won’t regret it. Solid 5 stars! I hope the hotel continues to maintain its high standards. Super excursion, very well organized with a great atmosphere. A special thanks to Alessandro for making the effort to speak French with us, even though it wasn’t planned. Ahmed, the photographer, was fantastic; we appreciated his humor and the help he provided in the canyon and at the Blue Hole. The camel ride was a bit short, and the shopping in Dahab felt a little too commercial. The highlight was when my partner lost his glasses, and the team professionally searched for and retrieved them. A guide from another tour even returned them to us. We booked four excursions (Ras Mohammed, Island That Doesn't Exist, Quad Ride, Canyon, and Dahab) from home with great ease and excellent support via WhatsApp. Although the prices are slightly above average, they are completely transparent: snorkeling gear (mask and snorkel) is already included, unlike others offering low prices but adding extras on-site. The organization is so well-planned that we arrived at the Island That Doesn't Exist before the other tourists, enjoying the place in peace.
